Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Adams County

We stayed in Gettysburg for a family wedding and to visit historical Gettysburg. Finding just the right rental is always a fun process for us, as we’d rather not stay in a hotel if possible; The Wolf Den was perfection! We absolutely loved the off-the-beaten-path location and it is such a lovely home. To say Scott and Nicole keep a tidy home is an understatement! Not only was it impeccably clean, but it was so warm and inviting with a little something to admire in each room! We were visited by a mama deer, her yearling and her brand new fawn! We also caught a glimpse of a turkey strolling through the front yard. (Things we miss living in Florida) The tree-filled views are equally breathtaking. If we are in the area again, this is a definite repeat location. Thank you Scott and Nicole ☺️

It was, by far, the nicest Air Bnb home we have ever stayed in! It is more beautiful than even the pictures can capture. The hosts have thought of everything. They go above and beyond in every category of hospitality. I highly recommend staying here. If someone is considering starting their own Air Bnb, this is the place to learn from. Wow, just, wow! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt we were in the most comfortable, luxurious and beautiful spot around. The house is appointed so beautifully and everything you could possibly need is there. Everything works beautifully and is easy to find. The house has so much space that a large party could easily coexist and not be on top of each other. Kelsey, make sure that you have everything you could need and plenty of it. I do not have one concern or recommendation. It was absolutely perfect.

Where to begin with this review??? I don't know what Airbnb's standard is for hosts and homes but whatever it is, Tierra's place exceeds it. We will forever compare all short term rentals to this one because the bar has been set so high. The first few minutes of our stay, my wife and I walked around the home awestruck by the attention to detail of this home. Tierra goes out of her way with little touches that helps to enhance the experience at her home. I don't think there is anything Tierra hasn't thought of. If you are looking for the perfect place to unwind, relax, and feel at home away from home, this place is it. We can't wait to return!

We had a great golf weekend in the area and really liked the accommodations. It was private, enough to fit 8 golfers, and close to many of the course we played. We will go back again.

We came together as a Men’s Discipleship group from PA, Maryland, and Missouri, and this was the perfect place for us! It was quiet, had space for us all, and gave us a great getaway! Close enough to Gettysburg to enjoy and explore, but far enough away that you feel and see the nature! Thanks for having us!

Stunning house & property! The pictures do it no justice. House was clean & comfortable, and grounds were beyond words! Hosts were very responsive. We had a busy schedule while there, and couldn't enjoy most of the amenities inside and outside of the home, but would love to visit for much longer next time. I could stay here for 2 weeks, on the property, and not get tired of it. Great location, as well. It was very private and tranquil, but within 20 minutes of any type of restaurant or store, big or small. We had an amazing stay! Thank you!

we loved this place. very nice apartment, the location is great, close to hiking, close to Gettysburg, quite and peaceful, just great. Michael was awesome. Very friendly, and was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Kathy was lovely. Her place was very comfortable and quiet. I loved the ducks and Kathy had food so you could feed them. The lake was beautiful! She also has kayaks and a peddleboat for you to use. I highly recommend.

We had a most wonderful stay! Adam is the best host! The place is quiet and peaceful with a parking space available and free! We will definitely be back and stay with him again when we visit Harrisburg and Hershey Park next time!

The studio was clean, spacious, and well thought out especially for a long term stay. I appreciated the stocked supplies. I also really loved having the river as a view! Overall, I had a comfortable stay with really no issues.

The perfect place for 2 people. It was very convenient for accessing the Visitor’s Center and for getting to historical areas in Gettysburg. We would definitely consider booking again in the future.

Host was very flexible and accommodating. Much appreciated. Convenient to the fairgrounds. Nicely optioned kitchen. Only minor detractors were low ceilings (my 6ft 4 husband kept knocking it when dressing), and a noisey krinkly plastic mattress cover. The bed was very comfortable but the mattress cover made is hotter than we like, even with just a sheet to sleep with. We would stay again. Recommend. We liked the lighted off street parking!

Beautiful air b and b - my husband and I spent the night of our wedding at this location and found it so relaxing with the hot tub, the bed was so comfortable and I fell asleep in an instant.

We had a great, but really short, stay at Ellie's place. The place is very nice, well-equipped, and in a great location. One block away from the river and very close to downtown. I hope we can stay there again in the future.
