Where do I even start? Kim and Terry were the sweetest hosts. Their home was beautiful, and the view from the patio, overlooking the lake, was absolutely amazing. Terry had so many great stories to share — you can really see how passionate he is about his work, and it was a joy to listen to him. Kim was so warm and welcoming; she not only opened her home to us but also her heart. She even made us homemade cookies, which made us feel even more at home. Even though we only stayed for two days, they made it such a peaceful, special experience. We’re so grateful to have met them — truly amazing people.

Modern Queen Room Near Airport and Downtown!

Recall this is a room in a family home! I totally missed that the “kitchen” for the guest is within the room! Super convenient and easy set up between the frig and microwave and the bathroom connected to the room. Jessica provides everything you need within the room, even a coffee pod machine and a few granola bars to choose from (I didn’t use any of them as I brought my own food). Perfect for a quick 1 or 2 night stay near the airport (12 minutes -ish).

Sherriann and Bob are the most gracious and friendly hosts I have ever had. They were super communicative, accommodating, and gave us stellar recommendations for things to do in the area. They always checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed. Also Sherriann left us some chocolate muffins when we first arrived, they were so good 😭🙏🏼💖 Lovely time in a lovely home with lovely hosts!

My boyfriend and I stayed for a night at the yurt and had a wonderful time! We spent a lot of time fishing and just enjoying the serenity of being in nature. There is so much to do and lots of close restaurants as well. We definitely want to stay again!

Excellent value for the price! Martin is a super personable host (we are both vets so that gave us a conversation starter). Why Martin is a SUPER Host: * I had a 5am Lyft pickup to the airport & Martin told me he'd get me there if Lyft had any issues. That's truly above & beyond! * He doesn't ask you to strip the bed, take out trash, wash dishes, etc.! Nice pond in the back of the house, perfect for a balmy day. Plenty of power outlets in my room (important amenity). A few things to know: * Friendly house doggo but don't let her into your room... she is hard to evict if she sneaks in... as Martin told me: "she thinks it's her room". * My room was at top of the stairs in case you have ambulation issues. * Martin prefers communicating with the AirBnB app so that there is a record of all dialog and therefore no issues with "but, you said.....". It's a great audit trail and I'm in total support of that style of comms. I hope I have the opportunity to stay with Martin again!
