Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Acropolis

Giannis was the best host! Friendly, communicative and helpful, he provided lots of information and tips about the area and Athens. His love for the city and his home was really apparent. The house is quiet, clean and full of art and nice touches, he is obviously creative and it was refreshing to stay in a place with real character! The best thing was the view from the terraces, with the acropolis and city laid before you. Watching the sunset and the lights come on at night was a highlight of our trip! We loved the village feel of the location, walkable to the centre or an inexpensive taxi ride home up the hill. Thank you Giannis, you’re great :)

This was a great stay for the price! A nice walk into the city center, (15 min) but the restaurants around the corner are way better than in the city center and better prices for the quality! Very local restaurants! I only wish the WiFi had been better, was very spotty

Katerina’s place was very close to the park area near the acropolis as well as a few cafes slightly out of the crowded part of town. She was very responsive and was even able to let us check in early, which was a huge help. The slight problem with Wi-fi was far outweighed by her customer service. I would certainly stay with her again!

The ceilings, natural light, beautiful craftsmanship of the wood, REAL ART! We have travelled extensively and enjoyed some beautiful Airbnb experiences. Christos space has moved to #1 on our list. My doctor, his parents were born in Greece, advised I should limit our time in Athens to 2 or 3 days. We are so glad we didn’t. Christos created a book, which I was hoping to buy but he gave us, that is BRILLIANT. The book is a pictorial and informational guide to Athens and Greece. Which he told me he could reproduce quite easily. If you stay at his space you will understand my surprise. Everything you need is a few minutes walk away. We came to Greece because of the history and the islands. We fell in love with Greece, the kindness of its people and generosity of spirit. Christos and his place may be the best of it.

We had a wonderful stay! Too short! Absolutely loved the location! Beautifully decorated and cozy inside and out! Loved the outside patio! As others have said, it is a spiral staircase up to bedroom. A fantastic location!! Great restaurants, easy to walk everywhere! Book it!

We had an amazing stay! This home is small but provided everything a family of three needed and more. This home is a stones throw away from the Acropolis, lots of other historical landmarks, shops, restaurants and beautiful walks. My daughter fell in love with all of the cats and the lovely woman who lives next door. We enjoyed nights outside on the little sitting area. Steven went out of his way to help us out and make us feel welcomed. Even providing additional towels and tidying up about midway through our stay. I would highly recommend having a wonderful experience, an adventure by staying in this home

Roni is an amazing host. He contacted me before I arrived and gave clear instructions on how to self check in, and he didn't go to sleep before I entered. He took care of everything, was involved, and asked if anything was needed. The apartment is very clean, vast, and has everything you need. Loved it, and I will surely come back in the future! Thank you, Roni, for accommodating me!

Place was as described and more. Beautiful place, perfect for groups of 4-5. Close enough for walks to main attractions. Host was great, quick to respond and you can tell host strives to take care of you. Great stay, heading back in a few days on a return trip to Athens.

We were very happy to be back at Spiros’s place again after our holiday to Naxos and Paros. It’s the fifth time we have stayed and it was such a lovely end to our vacation. We loved sitting out on the rooftop looking at the Acropolis, eating out in wonderful restaurants and absorbing the history and culture of Athens. Spiros was so kind and friendly - he even bought us a bottle of wine and chocolates at the end of our stay. I highly recommend Spiros’s place - it’s clean, comfortable and right in the centre of the Plaka. You won’t find a better rooftop terrace in the whole of Athens! Thank you Spiros and we look forward to coming again for our holidays next year.

Central location, close to restaurants and public transport, in a lively neighborhood but still very quiet apartment. Great communication with the host.

One of the highlights of my trip to Atheens was the view from the Apartment. Im not exagerating saying it has one of the best Acropolis views

Vasilis’s place was perfectly located for easy access to historic sights, great shopping and food. It is clean and comfortable with great air conditioning and surprisingly quiet for being in an area so populated. Vasilis is a very good communicator and was very helpful in storing our luggage due to an early arrival and gave us great recommendations on sightseeing and dining. We’d happily stay here again!

What a great experience from start to finish. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. They sent me over a list of recommendations for things to do and restaurants which I used and can say it’s a very useful guide as the food was unreal. The apartment had all the amenities needed for a few days in Athens with an unbeatable location. If safety is an issue then this place is perfect as it’s one street off a main road that I (solo traveller) felt completely safe in. Would highly recommended to anyone visiting Athens.

Definitely recommended! Dimitris was always responsive and helpful. The place itself was quite cozy and I felt right at home. It's located close to all the major spots including the public transport stops/stations merely a min or two away.

Amazing views!! Perfect for 2 people. The place is very clean and was comfy to stay in. Easy to walk to several great restaurants! The patio is sooo great to hang out on and stare at the acropolis. 10/10 recommend.

The host was incredibly helpful from the start — super responsive and provided an amazing guide full of local recommendations that really helped us make the most of our trip. The apartment itself was spotless, modern, and exactly as pictured. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the vibrant neighborhood of Psyri, with tons of great restaurants, cafes, and nightlife. Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

I can’t recommend Evangelos’ place enough! This was the perfect place for my husband and I on our short 3-day stay in Athens. The location was great, very walkable to many cafes and restaurants. The walk to the Acropolis was uphill so we would get a quick/cheap taxi there, and walk back to the Airbnb (~15 min walk). We felt very safe in the neighborhood, there were always people around. The hot tub was such a great place to relax after long days of walking, and the view of the Parthenon was just lovely - especially at night. Finally, Evangelos was so easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions. He also connected us with a great driver Petros, who picked us up from our cruise port and brought us to the airport. We had a fantastic stay in Athens and everything from check in to check out went very smoothly thanks to Evangelos!

Perfect place for a visit to Athens, peaceful neighbourhood but walkable to Acropolis and great variety of restaurants. The bed was so comfortable and the air conditioning really helped.

Lovely stay in this apartment! Magda was great with passing on information, all very easy. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the rooftop overlooking the city. Highly recommend this spot!

Highly recommended! It is very convenient but also safe (this apartment has a security system), and the facilities are also very nice (like Simmons washing machine)

This place was incredible! I’m so glad I booked it! Eukaterina was very responsive and kind. She met me at the entrance for check-in and explained everything. It’s a small apartment but perfect! The view is incredible and the balcony outside is so nice. Such a privilege to wake up to this view. The hosts also provided a lot of great local recommendations! I would definitely recommend staying here!
