Take a step back in time when you enter our little log cabin by the river. Built in 1949, this cabin is a replica of the log cabins built by the gold seekers of Alaska. Though modern in most aspects we have retained the native charm of unfinished wood, rough, hand-hewn logs and naked beams. The inspiration for the cabin was found by my great grandfather who spent time in Alaska working on the Alcan highway.

This BnB is a must stay, we have been multiple times and will continue to stay. They are the all time best host and make your experience one of a kind. The private pond is an awesome addition to the relaxing and beautiful patio, the house is spotless, modern and comfortable. We refer to this spot as the Country Oasis, and an absolute no brainer for the price.

What a wonderful place to stay in downtown Waverly Tim was the best host he gave me upfront information that was very helpful and checking in into his studio apartment. During the day, he stayed in communication with us to make sure everything was perfect and then he let us know what was expected of us before we left so it may check out super easy. We would definitely recommend his space and renting from him.

Susan was absolutely wonderful as a host! Her place was beautiful and very clean. She left easy to follow instructions for caring for her place as well as some suggestions of things to do. Everything was labeled around the house to make it easier for us to find what we needed which was VERY helpful! I will keep her place in mind if we ever get back that way.

I stayed a week for a work trip and Cassie’s place was great! It was very clean and comfortable with great parking and super convenient access. I was there during a stormy season and was really happy that they have an emergency storm shelter!! I will definitely stay there again if I am back in the area.

We've stayed at at this home several times and will continue to use it as a getaway location. the house is very welcoming and it's decor as well as cleanliness and location. you walk out the door or sit at the beautiful bay window in the kitchen and you'll see plenty of wildlife as well as the river. still close to downtown and any sort of shopping and restaurants. we love it for the conservation areas and Parks. highly recommend this home. we know you'll enjoy it just as much as we do.
