Granny’s Cottage

IonaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Granny’s cottage was a home from home, private but close enough to the local village if need to pop to the shop. Shelia was fantastic to deal with no hassle at all very accommodating to me and my family. The cottage was beautifully put together everything you need was there, lovely wee decking out the front of the house perfect for sitting in the morning or evening having refreshments. Definitely recommend would stay again
The exterior of a stone cottage features a charming entrance with a dark wooden door and a window adorned with light drapes. Colorful flowers, including pink and purple blossoms, grow along the path, adding natural beauty to the facade.

Rural Cottage near Lairg with country views.

VictorRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Stayed here for three days as a base to day trip NC 500 routes and the northern highlands. What a great place! Private and secluded with sheep and horses in the backyard pastures. Great bay window overlooking it all and deck. House had absolutely everything you need including tons of extra towels, games, binoculars, and all the items for the kitchen. Having a washer and dryer was great too! A few minutes outside Lairg center, so close to gas and groceries. A wonderful place to stay and would definitely return!

Lochside Lodge Pod

Lee-AnneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We chose to stay here as part of our NC500 trip, opting to stay in Lairg to allow us to explore less touristy spots inland. The accommodation has everything you need for both short and longer stays, perfectly situated on the owners' property with direct access to Loch Shin, should the weather be kind enough to allow you to take a dip. The accommodation is immaculate and comfortable with cosy comforts. Hosts, Jamie and Fanja were welcoming, friendly and helpful guiding us on all things Lairg and felt if there was anything we needed they'd be more than happy to help. Highly recommend staying here, if anything it's a good break from the trail, cute little village and fabulous food at The Pier!

Kyle Cottage

LilliRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cottage is a very specious Home in beautiful surroundings. It is very well equipped, except we weren’t able to find the listed washing machine, but I think we would have gotten instructions, if we would’ve asked. Regarding the cleanliness, everything was alright on the surface, but there were some corners, which could use a deep clean. There was also some strange fishy smell, but that might have come from the visitors before us. Everything was very nice and we enjoyed our stay a lot!!
A cozy interior features large windows offering stunning views of the surrounding hills. A spacious bed is adorned with patterned pillows and a soft blanket. A comfortable sofa is positioned alongside a coffee table, creating an inviting seating area. A central woodburner adds warmth to the space.
