Large enough for car and trailer. Lock up for bicycles on request. Extra towels for lake or local hot pools swimming are available.

Whether its a romantic weekend for two or a base for your adrenalin packed holiday around the central plateau, you will find our cosy cottage an ideal base. Please note,great views also mean a bit of a climb. We have 33 steps up to our door. If you have mobility needs please check the photos before booking. This apartment block was built in 1976, so does look old and tired on the outside.

There is no free to air TV, Netflix etc). Off street park. You will need a car as there is no public transport.

THE MINSION, a cosy studio located in our garden , in beautiful Acacia Bay. Awake to the sound of Tui's and bird song. It is a short walk to Lake, cafe/ restaurant, local store and walking tracks . Our studio is often used and loved by family and friends so has a number of board games, DVDs and family memories. We like our property to be smoke/vape free please. We had the most incredible weekend getaway at this stunning property! The location is absolutely perfect — tucked away just enough to feel like a retreat, yet close to everything we needed. The views were nothing short of extraordinary; we found ourselves constantly pausing just to soak it all in. The house itself is beautifully designed and so well-equipped. It had everything we needed and more. Honestly, it felt like we barely scratched the surface of what this place has to offer — there's just so much to take in and enjoy. We left feeling like we needed more time to truly experience its full potential. Highly, highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable escape. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and comfortable. It was the perfect base while visiting friends in the area. The neighbourhood was quiet but still had plenty for the kids to do. Check in was super easy and we arrived to a nice warm home with the lights on for us! We loved our stay at Karen’s!

Kylie and Dan’s Lochside Retreat was absolutely beautiful! It was cozy, tidy and a very inviting space to relax. It was just as described however more stunning in person! Kylie and Dan had left added touches with treats, a prepared fire and candles for the outside bath. A personalised note was left on arrival. I would 100% recommend. Thank you Kylie and Dan!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and the house was very comfortable with all we needed. Very tastefully decorated with lots of lovely thoughtful touches...thank you Lu. Lovely view of the lake and yhe Acacia Bay location was serene. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Acacia Bay Kiwi Bach

Such a great place to stay for a family getaway! The house has absolutely everything we needed. It was warm, spacious and light. The fire is cosy and the showers are super powerful which we loved. We used the outdoor bar table for morning coffee and breakfast. The indoor couches were our favourite for evening wine and a rainy morning. The big dining table was excellent for sit-down meals. The view is beautiful. We could watch the boats and parasailers. The lake, a dairy, a beautiful restaurant and great coffee are just one minute's walk. The walk to Rangatira Point is a short drive away. We didn't get to using the rods or kayaks because of the weather - but we loved that they were there for us. We had all sorts of birds visit, and loved that proximity to nature. We had the best time and would happily go back.

The modern bathroom features a spacious vanity with dual sinks and ample counter space. A glass-enclosed shower is equipped with a rainfall showerhead. Light-filled with neutral tones, the room offers a serene atmosphere, with a large mirror enhancing the sense of openness.
