Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Abtenau

The studio is small but sufficient. The amenities (bath shower, cooker) are not exactly the latest, but everything works as it should. Mainly, this is a great location as a starting point for car trips. The host is very helpful and communicates well even when not present. The railway is in the process of being renovated,so be careful, there are no trains here now (May 2025).

The apartment is very spacious, spotlessly clean, and well furnished. It’s truly a home away from home, with a full bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a large double bed, and a living room with a single bed. The layout can comfortably accommodate 4 people. More importantly, the apartment is within walking distance to all major attractions as well as numerous restaurants in the old town. The only drawback is that the apartment is on the 3rd floor but there is no elevator, which could be difficult for people with mobility issues or carrying large bags. The host is warm, responsive, and extremely thoughtful. He goes out of his way to accommodate us during our stay. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Salzburg.

The surroundings, the view, and the proximity to things to do are magnificent. It is recommended to have a vehicle if you want to have freedom of movement. The apartment is very quiet and peaceful, but it is very very small, which makes it difficult to cook and move around. It is not as private as we like so we stuck to the apt. and the balcony. The Krippenstein cable cars, trails, and caves were worth our stay, on top of everything else we did. Obertraun is a great town to stay in.

We were very excited about the accommodation as well as the hosts. Beautiful location, very clean and cozy. You have everything you need in the apartment and more! Sandra and Florian are very friendly. It was a very great relaxing vacation. Thank you for that!

Michael was a gracious host and very responsive. From the first communication, he never disappointed and always responded quickly. He was also very helpful once we arrived with taxi help, etc. The apt was spotless and well appointed. But, the most important aspect of this apartment is the LOCATION. Within a few minutes walk of Old Town, we were in front of the Cathedral which is majestic. And in five minutes, you can walk to everything. Great location for popping back in to unload purchases or bathroom breaks. Old Town is gorgeous and this is where you want to be. If you are there on a Saturday, don't miss the farmer's market and try the sausages from the vendors. So authentic. I can't say enough about how wonderful Michael's place is. Again, location, location, location!!!

Christian was very friendly. He greeted us when we arrived and spent time showing us the suite, and checked in with us when we left as well. Good communication and very accommodating. The suite was cozy, felt like home, and very spacious with everything you need. The location is peaceful and the view of Salzburg from the balcony is picturesque!

Conclusion: I would be happy to come back. Christine was continuously available and incredibly friendly. Due to our journey, we arrived at 2 am. Thanks to the contactless check-in, that wasn't a problem. Christine sent photos of everything, so the check-in went smoothly. The room was clean and cozy. Just a big compliment and thank you...

A great home to stay, feels like home.

A perfect place to stay for a larger group! There are cozy rooms for retreat and a spacious living room as well as a terrace for socializing. The apartment and kitchen are perfectly equipped. The location with the lake behind the house is perfect and a wonderful starting point for hikes!

Perfect place to spend the week with the family. Lots to do within a short drive. Felt like home and had everything we needed and more! Great that there was a washer and dryer.

Snezana-Mile is an amazing host who was very responsive to our questions (and there were many😊). The accommodation is in a village a short walk from Salzburg, in a nice modern house. It is in a quiet environment, very clean, comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and in addition to the classic amenities, we were delighted with the little things - coffee (and chocolate) capsules, tea, spices, and so on. The bathrooms didn't lack all the necessary toiletries. There was plenty of storage space in the rooms. Also, the fly screens in the windows were pleased. Our group of 8 was very welcoming and comfortable. It is about 20 minutes by bus to the center of Salzburg, Snezana-Mile has also equipped travel tickets. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel right at home. The house is fantastic for a family and Roxana is an incredible host. she had arranged our public transport tickets that allowed us to catch the bus from the end of the street into Salzburg. She also surprised our 10 year old with balloons and decorations upon arrival for his 10th birthday. We loved our stay at Roxana's house, it was amazing.

This was a great stay in a little town just outside of Saltzberg. It is an old farmhouse with many authentic items. There was plenty of room for a group of three. All of our needs were met, and our host advised us on a great restaurant for lunch.

We had a 5 night stay in this wonderful apartment - it has to be one of the best apartments we’ve stayed in. It is huge, very well appointed and perfectly positioned just outside the old town. Peter & Evelyn were perfect hosts, they have made this property feel like a home. The amenities provided in both the kitchen and the bathroom were unexpected and very much appreciated. The best feature of this apartment though is the shower! We absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit Salzburg.

This apartment was spacious and within 20 minutes walk of historic Salzburg. A bus stop is conveniently located across the street. We appreciated Gregor’s responsiveness to our questions. We had the opportunity to meet his parents and found them to be lovely people. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and coffee. We would stay here again!
