Wallace Lodge was by far the most beautiful and peaceful of our entire trip. The house was the perfect mix of modern amenities with a rustic feel, everything from the private Loch to the sheep in the surrounding fields made our stay even that much better. Wallace was a most helpful and gracious host, from letting us check in s little early, to showing us how to work the appliances. The hot tub overlooking the private Loch was the icing on the cake for this amazing place. would definitely come back here for a vacation.

Absolutely fantastic location, out of the way and really peaceful. Another Airbnb next door but was exactly as advertised and contact with other guests was minimal and no issue at all. Perfect for a Scottish getaway in the Trossachs. The accommodation was clean, tidy and so well decorated - a home from home! Alison and Matt were so accommodating. Really helpful and friendly. We even asked about bringing a BBQ and they kindly offered their own for ease. Would absolutely recommend the stay to family and friends! Thank you for a lovely stay, 5*

Balnacraig house is a great house in a beautiful location / we rented the property with another 3 couples as we were invited to a birthday party just down the road. So the location was perfect. It is a beautiful house well located with all facilities needed although we did not really have time to enjoy it. Linda was great to communicate with and we definitely would return again.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay in Maggies place. Cottage was exactly as described, hot tub was easy to use and absolutely amazing. A lovely and cosy little place perfect for a wee getaway. Local pub staff were also very friendly and food was yummy.

I absolutely loved this serene little guesthouse tucked away just outside of Edinburgh. It was very nice, clean, and functional for our family group. It was easy to navigate from there to surrounding areas by car. Ali was so personable and friendly! Truly a pleasure to stay here, and we would gladly stay again!

We had a really lovely stay at the cottage, and as others have said the games room is fabulous fun, the horses were a huge hit with our kids, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after a fun day out! Thank you again Helen and family for a super place to relax and have great fun. We really enjoyed our visit.

Fantastic stay at Capo Farmhouse. Brilliant location, gorgeous house and a very helpful and very responsive to any questions or help that we required. We stayed for a special birthday and felt right at home and staying with Caroline made our special trip extra perfect.

Sandra’s cottage is lovely! It’s a confortable base for touring the gorgeous Grampians and Cairngorms, the many castles, Stirling and more. The cottage is very private and silent. It is surrounded by a sunny nice-sized private garden. It has confortable and inviting beds, a charming livingroom with a tiny fireplace (it works well). Lots of books to read (if you have the time, with so much to see! 😉). The kitchen is equipped enough for a simple meal. Thank you Sandra for hosting us!

I have no word that truly captures this place. It is centrally located for folks who want to explore the highlands, lowlands and anywhere in between. The home was SO cozy and Maggie welcomed us like family, sharing her local knowledge of the best places to visit, great scenic routes to get there, and absolutely THE best restaurants around. The home had comfy bedding, a cozy living room complete with wood burning stove for those chilly nights, and a oversized tub to soak away the day. Maggie even had milk and orange juice in the refrigerator waiting for our coffee and tea. The scenery is second to none, surrounded by picturesque hills and a view of the Loch. I could stay here forever.

Words cannot express the wonderful week we have had on Loch Katrine. Old Smiddy is ideally located for hiking the mountains, lochs and woodland and Carole has thought of all you need to make it feel like a home from home. Having our morning tea watching the Barn Swallows and House Martins catching their breakfast on the lake in the sunshine was very special. Aberfoyle has all you need for food and cute shops and fantastic Doone Hill walk from the town - Free Parking!!! A ferry trip on the Sir Walter Scott from the pier over to Trossachs Pier is a MUST and the Primrose Hill hike was stunning. The Pier Cafe is outstanding, definitely worth a treat and just a short walk away. Thank you Carole for sharing your amazing house, we will be back to enjoy the hot tub and sauna 🤞

The cottage was beautiful! Location is peaceful and private. Marianne's instructions to get to the cottage were very helpful and made it easier to find the cottages. The cottages were clean, neat and tidy giving us ample of space to use. The views from the cottage are spectacular even our kitten enjoyed the views! The location was perfect for us to drive around other places in the highlands and discover local areas. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back! Thank you Marianne for the wonderful stay. We had an amazing time in Alyson’s cabin. Even though the weather wasn’t kind, the view from the cabin makes up for it. Watching the weather change and the wonderful rainbows-amazing. Luss is a quaint, popular little village. So lovely when all the coach trips go home and you can explore on your own . There are a few places to eat and drink in Luss, the Loch Lomond hotel was lovely. We had a great walk up Ben Dubh, which is just behind Luss and also visited Conic Hill for an easier hike. The village walks are really pleasant too. The cabin had everything needed for a short stay, it was clean and well equipped. We would definitely recommend.

Such a wonderful place to relax and recharge. Beautiful views and a fantastic garden. The cottage is cosy and has everything you could want for. Pittenweem and surrounding towns were perfect to explore with loads of walks and great local shops. Dawn was great, really responsive and very helpful.

I like the kitchen and cooked 3 dinners there. It would however be great if they can put some condiments in the kitchen as travellers usually don’t carry those with them…

Such a fab spot to stay. We loved the yurt as a family of 4. It is a clamping experience, with excellent amenities and Carol and Mark are so kind and thoughtful. We felt very happy here and the kids loved it

This apartment was perfect for our family of 8. Great location with many restaurants in the area. Easy access to bus service for city center. Facilities had everything we needed. Perfect place.

A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

The staff on site and host were very responsive in all the messages. I love taking an evening walk around the lake where it’s peaceful and quiet. Thank you so much for hosting us.

Recently visited Pleasant Hill for Hen Weekend. We had previously been let down by another house and Chris was extremely helpful and reassuring. 17 of us stayed for the weekend and the house was perfect for what we needed it for. Chris was in constant contact with me, gave plenty of recommendations for local amenities and attractions and was flexible on check in and check out times. For such a large party, buying food was a concern of mines but he suggested we do an online shop beforehand and offered to collect it and put it away for us before we arrived. This really was a massive help and greatly appreciated, it was one less worry and concern I had in the run up to the weekend. Our bride and all guests had a fantastic weekend. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

Lovely host, very amenable and flexible. I booked for one day and ended up booking another day because of the place and surroundings. The host went out of her way to get me refunded the extra days cleaning fee. Would definitely recommend. Only had one bad point which is there was a spiderweb above the bed. Overall lovely host, lovely home, and beautiful area with lots to do and explore.

We had a lovely break at the caravan, so peaceful. So lucky with the weather and the views from were amazing, could sit for ages watching what was happening on the water and looking over to Dunoon. Great to see the Waverley and cruise ship pass by.

Fabulous place. Definitely should live here once. My only regret is that we booked just for two days.. as a lazy travel couple.. we loved the peace.. The welcome package was amazing especially since there are few restaurants so the starter package helped in first day cooking a lot.. The whole location is just out of a picture book.
