Pet-friendly vacation rentals in 1st arrondissement

Although our stay in this house was only related to a business trip and we spent most of our time at work, I must admit that the rented apartment met all our expectations – and even exceeded them. After long hours of work, we were happy to return to a quiet, clean and comfortable interior. The house was well heated, the beds were very comfortable, and the fast internet and desks allowed me to easily finish some of my duties remotely. The quiet neighborhood was conducive to rest and concentration – exactly what we needed after an intense day. I also appreciate the hosts' attention to detail – basic kitchen equipment, fresh towels, a coffee maker, and even some useful information about the area – all this made us feel more at home than in a "place to stay". I definitely recommend this house not only to tourists, but also to business travelers. If we are in the area again, we will be happy to come back.

Everything was perfect. The accommodation was very comfortable, well-equipped and located. We had a pleasant stay with our dog who was able to enjoy the small outdoor area.

Apartment located in a quiet area of Vénissieux, very well renovated and tastefully furnished. Special mention for the bedroom bedding! Super comfortable mattress. Lyon is accessible by metro or car in 25/30 min, perfect for cultural tours. Amandine is an available and responsive host.

We only stayed for a few days but it was amazing. The host is very friendly and is always available for whatever you may need! Peaceful neighborhood and the house is close to a couple shops, so it’s perfect for longer stays, or just if you need a day to yourself to relax! The house itself is very modern and feels like it’s generally well maintained. There’s an incredible bedroom for kids, equipped with a sort of bunk bed and firefighter pole to slide down into a ball pit! House also comes with a very friendly outdoor cat that lives in the neighborhood and loves attention! Did I mention the turtles?

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful, quiet and clean house. The garden and the terrace were such a delight. Being 5 min from the city centre (by bus that just stopped outside) with a view over Lyon and the Alps and Mt. Blanc, and experiencing the quietness of the countryside with hens in the garden is something not to be missed. We had fresh eggs every morning! The hosts, Sam and Louis, are wonderful and professional in every respect. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with cheese, charcuterie and wine after being shown around the house, which is beautifully furnished with a high-tech kitchen, sound system and electrical shutters. The house can be extended to the terrace with large sliding doors. At the end of our week, the hosts gave us a ride to the train station (Perrace). This house is an absolute jewel, and I recommend it highly. I will definitely choose Sam and Louis as hosts next time I go to Lyon!

Great location for getting into central Lyon, 8 minute walk from the station and just a ten minute train to vieux Lyon. The space is great with a modern feel. The garden is beautiful and spacious.

For this last-minute rental, our host was responsive and flexible on our check-in and check-out constraints. The apartment was very well located for our needs, comfortable, clean and well-equipped, in a quiet and pleasant residence (the little evening bath, even icy, was very pleasant😉).

The space was very spacious with a taste of sublime decor. Guillaume and Delphine were very responsive to our requests. We had a pleasant time and I highly recommend it. Looking forward to returning.

The location is close to campuses in Ecully such as Institut Paul Bocuse and Centrale de Lyon. Place is affordable and comfortable, suitable for people who want to visit their friends or relatives studying in the campus. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing with a supermarket in the vicinity.

Very nice apartment in a very nice neighborhood. Beautiful view and good bedding. Too bad the bathroom is so small and impractical. Very good address nonetheless.

Alexis apartment was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for our 4 day stay. Easy to access the Perrache station and all the sites in Lyon. We were especially close to Brasserie Georges which was quite an experience and also visited the Museum of Deportation and the French Resistance which was very interesting. A great and enjoyable stay.

I loved my stay here and would stay again. The apartment had a cosy feel and was well decorated so even though it is small it never felt crammed. The kitchen is well equipped - with an oven even, which was a nice variation to going out for dinner every day. I only heard some noise from the square downstairs when I had the windows open and even then it didn’t bother me that much. I walked everything - 13 min to Place des Terraux. A lot of stairs but worth it. If you are arriving with a lot of luggage, I’d recommend to stay in the bus until the Croix Rousse bus stop (C13) and don’t follow Google maps (Google maps had me walk 10 min of stairs with my luggage). Nice bars and restaurants nearby as well. Thanks Marie for having me!

The apartment was clean and a great size for two people. It is also easily accessible by public transport. Great stay!

Great location and very comfortable, well- furnished apartment a block from restaurants in Vieux Lyon. Apartment on 2nd floor up spiral stone staircase, but well worth the effort. Very quiet despite proximity to all the action. We extended our stay and would definitely stay again.

Lovely appartement in the heart of Lyon!

Wonderful host and very nice apartment. It can get quite loud at night but the host graciously provided ear plugs. It is common for it to be loud in the centre of Lyon so we were not bothered. Will definitely return.
