The apartment (45m²+ private patio) is located on the banks of the Saône, a 5-minute walk from the historic old Lyon district. Located on the 1st floor (no elevator), hillside of an old building on the bank of the Saône river, the building corridor is a little rustic (17th century). The apartment has been fully redesigned, keeping its authenticity. I made it my refuge, away from the hustle and bustle of Lyon. However, this place is not to everyone’s taste 😊. I describe later the pros & cons.

Good Place - Vieux Lyon ! Charme, Confort & Calme

Ideally located, this 46 m2 apartment is located in the heart of Lyon, in the historic district and you will be quiet. Refurbished, it can accommodate up to 4 people. You will appreciate its warm and cozy side, its amenities and its location. (+ Free WiFi) Close to all amenities, restaurants, tourist places, St Jean metro station and S1 and C3 buses. The apartment is located in a listed building. It is quiet because it overlooks the courtyard and is located on the 3rd floor.

Independent apartment on the slopes of the Croix Rousse

You will be charmed by its stone wall, its French ceiling, which gives it a unique character! Former upholstery workshop of 38 m2 fully rehabilitated, it occupies the ground floor of a 19th century building that faces the former École des Beaux Arts in Lyon. Ideal for 2 people, it can accommodate up to 4 guests.

100 m2 apartment near Quai St Vincent and Lyon tourist sites (Vieux Lyon, Fourvière, Place des Terreaux, Bellecour, Opéra). It will delight tourists, professionals (trade shows, fairs, conferences and seminars) and athletes. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (without toilet) will provide comfort and privacy to the occupants. 2 separate toilets. This place is not a party place. No noise pollution will be tolerated in the condominium and apartment.

View of the Gones of the Croix-Rousse

The apartment is located in a typical alley in the neighborhood: a traboule. Two driveway entrances with the same 151A6 digital code allow you to access it: - 2nd floor of Rue Mottet de Gerando - 4th floor of Bodin Street. There is a very friendly and respectful neighborhood life. There may be different reasons to stay in Lyon, but when you choose the Croix-Rousse hill in particular, it's that you like to walk the urban cobblestone!

For a short or long stay, you will be in the historic heart of Lyon in this apartment that my wife and I renovated for 6 months until February 2021. It is located on the top floor -with a view - in a typical building, dating from the 19th century, 100 m from Place des Terreaux and Hôtel de Ville de Lyon, less than 200 m from the metro station "Hôtel de Ville" and the main bus lines (C3) , and about 5 minutes from Vieux Lyon on foot.
