Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Zurich

It was an extremely positive experience staying at Christina's cottage! Christina was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Our flight landed late at night, and she made checking in flexible for us, which was convenient. Instructions were clear, and she showed us around the cottage, making us feel at home. She answered all our questions and even went out of her way to drive us from/to the train station when she was able to do so! She is such a kind host and made our stay in her cottage a favorable part of our trip. The amenities in the cottage matched what was listed online. The local area was very peaceful and quiet and had beautiful surroundings. The cottage was within walking distance of Lake Zurich and the train station, which made getting around easy. If I return to this area of Switzerland, I will stay with Christina again. I highly recommend Christina's cottage for travelers visiting this area of Switzerland for a peaceful place to stay while visiting the country!

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach nur schön. Antonia ist äußerst freundlich und ihr gemütliches Haus ist ruhig gelegen. Unsere Hundis haben sich wie zuhause gefühlt:) wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Thierry’s place was wonderful! We spent 5 full days there and absolutely loved it. It’s in the beautiful countryside about 20 minutes from Zurich city center. Plenty of space and we loved using the pool, hot tub, and sauna. Would absolutely stay there again! One thing to note - do not ask for them to call you a taxi as they charged us 130 Swiss francs when an Uber is only about 40.

Michael’s place in Eberswil was an absolute delight. The location is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet, scenic stay just outside of Zug — surrounded by nature but still close enough to everything you need. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and felt very cozy and welcoming. We especially appreciated the attention to detail — from the comfortable bed to the thoughtful touches in the kitchen. Waking up to the serene countryside views was a highlight of our stay. Michael was a fantastic host — responsive, friendly, and respectful of our privacy. Check-in was seamless, and he made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. We’d definitely come back!

Danke für die nette Herberge und gute Kommunikation. Besonders gut gefallen hat es uns, dass nur 2min zu Fuss ein herrliches Seebad gelegen ist, welches man kostenlos benutzen kann. Perfekt im Sommer nach einem harten Arbeitstag zur Abkühlung

I often visit Zurich, Switzerland for business trips. This time, I stayed at Sylvia’s Airbnb for 5 days and 4 nights for the first time. To sum it up, my team and I found Sylvia’s place to be perfect. If we visit Zurich again in the near future, we will definitely consider staying at her place first. The house is located in a quiet residential area, so we could enjoy the peaceful garden and lots of green nature. Every room—including the living room, kitchen, and office—was very clean and well-organized. All the furniture was well-prepared and nothing was missing. The whole house feels like a modern gallery or art museum. During my 4-day stay, I used a rental car, so I didn’t use public transportation from Sylvia’s place. But for me, it was very clear that the house had good parking space, and it was easy and convenient to park there.

Abbiamo soggiornato nell'appartaappartamento di Nicole per i giorni di Pasqua. L'appartamento è molto carino, ben curato, pulito e con tutti i confort. Ideale per una coppia, o come nel nostro caso, coppia con un bimbo piccolo. La zona è molto tranquilla e circondata da paesaggi bellissimi ma anche di tutti i servizi. Nicole è stata molto gentile, ha risposto a tutte le nostre necessità e non ci è mancato niente. Grazie Nicole!

Heerlijk verblijf gehad op een prachtige locatie! Je bent in een paar minuten lopen bij het meer, maar ook snel in de stad.

Ruth og jeg havde en rigtig god skriftlig kommunikation, hvor Rut bl.a tilbød at hente os på togstationen. Det var fantastisk at gå op ad en lille bakke til huset. Frodig have og et rigtigt traditionelt schweizisk hus. Der var en skøn udsigt ud over Zürich søen. Alt var i orden i huset. Fint køkken med alt, hvad man skal bruge. Stor stue med hyggemøbler og spisemøbler. Skøn altan med havemøbler. Soveværelse med god seng og dør ud til haven. Fint badeværelse med rigelige håndklæder. Vi følte os meget velkomne og Rut var dejlig at snakke med. Vi kommer gerne igen.

📍👍🏻 Amazing stay - would 100% recommend, well worth it. Great location with transport links - bus/tram stop was within 1 minute walk that took us direct to Zurich HB and other areas we wanted to explore. It's a very spacious apartment, and with two toilets which was extremely convenient for my family of 6. Super easy self check-in instructions provided. The apartment was located in the 2nd floor, but the building has a lift that you can use if you have big luggages ☺️ Great communication from hosts with prompt responses. The pillows were a little flat to our liking, but we used the cushions from the sofa for extra support which worked well ☺️ At times it was a little stuffy/warm inside and we didn't open the windows due to the local traffic noise, however fans were provided in each room so that worked super well for us to keep cool inside ☺️

This was my second stay—and for good reason! I loved it the first time and couldn’t wait to come back. The check-in was super easy, and the apartment has everything you need to feel at home, even for a longer stay. A fully equipped kitchen (with all utensils, a coffee machine, and even a barbecue), cozy beds, a spacious living room, and the most breathtaking views from every room. It’s also very accessible—there are no thresholds in the rooms, and you can easily get from the street to the apartment without any steps, which is great for families with kids or anyone with mobility concerns. Highly recommended and definitely a place I’ll return to again!

We were a family of four people, we had a great time at Himanshu’s place, very neat and spacious, kitchen had all the gadgets bathrooms were neat and clean!!! Would surely recommend to our friends and family!!! Thank you very much Himanshu!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Ramon, Doreen, Thilo and their two k cats Yumi and Orion. The hosts were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We felt right at home. The house and the views are absolutely beautiful. The cats were super fun and cute. They live near a train station, getting around was super easy. We would definitely come back to stay with them. Thank you again!!

Nous sommes venu passer la nuit chez Christina après un concert au Letzigrund. Nous y avons très bien dormi, les informations d'accès étaient claires et précises. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir à l'avenir si l'occasion se présente.

Priskus e sua moglie sono semplicemente il meglio che si possa desiderare e sperare di incontrare quali host di un alloggio. Cercare di descrivere a parole quello che abbiamo provato in questi giorni, la loro simpatia, la loro disponibilità, rischierebbe di svilire e sminuire quello che solo vivendo si può percepire. Veramente un posto e delle persone magiche, il prossimo anno torneremo per Ironman 70.3 e alloggeremo di nuovo in questo angolo di paradiso. Grazie ancora. Gabriele e Alessandra

Wir waren in der Villa Blumer mit drei Personen zu Gast. Christina ist eine äußerst freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Unser 3 Bett Zimmer war ausreichend groß, total sauber Und es war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Auch sonst in Bad,Küche, Wohnzimmer alles da und top! Und dann der tolle Garten, natürlich Jetzt alles in vollblüte, ein Traum! Alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft !

Superb view. Great location. Easy public transportation to Zurich and all of central Switzerland. Convenient parking. Patrick, as host, is gracious, responsive, and very helpful with activity suggestions.
