In the immediate vicinity is an island horse farm as well as the restaurant Bergcafé Friedrichstein. Within walking distance you reach the gliding airfield (one of the oldest gliding areas in Germany), the Wichtelkirche and the help stones. The area is very popular for its hiking trails (e.g. Habichtswaldsteig) and its juniper vegetation along the limestone grasslands.

Our guest apartment is lovingly decorated, is located in the high paterre of an old building and is about 50 sqm in size. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a cozy sitting area. The bedroom has a 160x200 large double bed. In the living room there is also a 90x190 bed next to the sofa. There are some cozy seating areas in the courtyard. The historic city center, supermarket and train station are within walking distance. A parking space for your car is available in the yard.

Next to the house is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Welcome to our new Chalet Habichtswald, located at the foot of the Hohe Dörnberg in the Habichtwald Nature Park. Our small wooden house is located in a very nice hillside location right next to an equestrian farm for Icelandic horses. The property offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and the gliding airfield on the Dörnberg on all sides. The hiking parking lot Friedrichstein is in the immediate vicinity and offers entrances to various premium hiking trails.
