The area is very popular for its hiking trails (e.g. Habichtswaldsteig) and its juniper vegetation along the lime grasslands.

Our small wooden house is located in a very nice hillside location right next to a riding stable for Icelandic horses. The property offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and the gliding airfield on the Dörnberg on all sides. The Friedrichstein hiking parking lot is in the immediate vicinity and offers access to various premium hiking trails.
