Great place! The beach is very quiet and during the week days in June it was basically private for us. The view is amazing. The location is a bit remote, and although the hosts were very kind to not leave us starving, be prepared with your groceries. The closest shop is 20 minutes away by car. The sea has amazing blue water. If you seek a bit of “get away from people” this is a definite go-to place. If you expect life, cities and beaches full with people and bars - don’t bother.

What a beautifully renovated apartment with everything we needed. The most comprehensively equipped kitchen we’ve found amongst all of our rentals in Pelion, fresh fruit provided from their garden, home made cherries in syrup for breakfast, very comfortable bed, full length sofas to lounge on, gorgeous metal and wood drum like coffee tables, washing machine, brilliant aircon, a wonderful terrace… and the absolute icing on the cake was John’s mum who bought us homemade warm donuts with honey and cinnamon on the first morning and homemade filo pastries filled with feta and peppers on the next. I did ask if she could come and live with us, but I think we’ll have to settle on seeing this lovely family when we next book into their apartment.

Beautiful studio with a lovely outdoor patio that has a great view of the ocean. There is a gas stove outside and some pretty basic cooking utensils (a pot, pan, knife) and a fridge, coffee pot, glasses and cups inside. Comfortable bed, AC. Very quick (but quite steep) walk down to the town plaza, supermarket, restaurants. Can park in the plaza or a short walk up the hill from the house. Very responsive host who met us to show us the way to the house. We loved it!

Charming and attentive hostess: cupcakes for breakfast, multiple attentions left in the apartment. THANK YOU! Very close to the beach and taverns on foot while being in a quiet garden. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The only downside is that the bathroom is not very practical. Access is a little sporty: the house is at the top of a steep driveway and inaccessible by car. As a reward, a beautiful view under a beautiful mulberry tree.

Guntram’s house in Pelion is an absolute gem. It has been lovingly restored over 20 years with both a respect for the building’s history and a focus on creating a superb modern living space. We loved our stay.

we had a great time, the apartment has a fantastic view and is perfectly equipped. John and Lampros were very helpful and adorable the whole time. note that it was very hot in Afissos but the apartment keeps the cool except for the attic room of course (nevertheless my daughter slept very well with the fan). The village is close but requires taking stairs a little raided or by car.

The space is spotless and beautiful with comfortable parking. Iakovos and Sofia are very friendly and helpful. If you want to spend a week in peace and relaxation I highly recommend it. Very close to beaches and cafe restaurants.
