Family-friendly vacation rentals in Zella-Mehlis

Our accommodation was very comfortable and the location was great for visiting many interesting places. We enjoyed the garden and trees and the rural setting. Apolda itself was an unexpected bonus, as was our very friendly hostess Erika.

I highly recommend! Check in was easy, the apartment was spot on and location was in a great spot on.

We were there with the whole family (15 people) and very satisfied. There was enough space and in the large living room we could all sit together comfortably. The hot tub and garden were also used extensively :). The beds were very comfortable and the sofa beds were also provided with a topper, so that the children slept really well. Definitely a clear recommendation.

Olaf and Nicole are a warm and super friendly couple!😊 They always answered questions quickly and were relaxed and funny. As a welcome, everything was shown to us, otherwise we could spend our girls' weekend privately and in peace over Pentecost. The place is very clean and you feel right at home. Unfortunately, we didn't have such nice weather, but that was absolutely no problem thanks to the warm hot tub and the cozy furnishings inside!🥰 We were really excited and are considering renting AirBnB again in the coming years.

Katja's apartment absolutely met my expectations. During our weekend, we found it to be an oasis of tranquility where you could completely leave the outside world behind. The spacious living area invites you to cook and play together and the sleeping options were comfortable and cozy. The highlight was definitely the hot tub, which we were allowed to use in January at an outside temperature of 0°C. A hike on the Ettersberg rounded off our weekend and many Weimar restaurants deliver their food to Gaberndorf. A great, modern apartment with friendly hosts that we will definitely book again! :)

Thank you for the wonderful time in Weimar! Even if this apartment is not designed to accommodate families with small children, Volker and Susann did everything possible to make our stay with our 16-month-old daughter nice and comfortable. The location is great. We were at the Goethehaus and Theaterplatz in minutes. For relaxation, we were down by the Ilm in 5 minutes, where we enjoyed the Ilm Park to the fullest. The apartment is well equipped. The bathroom is modern and invites you to shower after an eventful day. We even cooked a few times and found everything we needed. The whole thing was crowned with nice and cordial conversations. This place is definitely recommended.

We were in Coburg for a short stay and were looking for and found an inexpensive and child-friendly accommodation. The kitchen amenities were great and the beds were comfortable. However, our highlight was the cozy play corner, which our almost 3-year-old daughter didn't want to leave. We had a great time ☀️

Super great place - we would definitely come back if we are in Weimar again. On foot a nice walk to the center(about 15 min), quietly located, have breakfast beautifully undisturbed on the terrace in the sun. Also equipped 1A; even with extras such as slippers (is also quite cold foot), various Playing and books, hot water bottle, coffee grinder & milk frother, tea, spices, etc.

There were two of us with a toddler and we felt very comfortable. A travel cot fits wonderfully in the bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped. In the bathroom, there are all kinds of utensils in case you've forgotten something. Communication was flawless and they were available at any time. The surrounding area is rural and very quiet. The hosts' sheep can be watched directly from the kitchen and bathroom. A highlight for our daughter. There is a free parking space right in front of the house. We can recommend the place and had a lovely time. Everything is easily accessible from Zeigerheim.

Large, perfectly equipped apartment (even in the kitchen there was nothing missing) with a spacious terrace and a well-kept garden. Erich and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The value for money is very good. The place is quiet and well located to explore Bad Kissingen and the surrounding area. I'd love to come back!

Our stay at Katja's place was pleasant. The space was clean and well-maintained, with new utensils that made meal preparation a breeze. The surrounding area was quiet, providing a restful environment. The host was responsive and attentive, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. A particular highlight for our young kid were the toys provided. However, it’s worth noting that the apartment is situated on the top floor, requiring several flights of stairs. Overall, a suitable accommodation for a tranquil getaway.

Constanze and André are super nice and very communicative hosts. They had many tips for us and were always accessible for questions. We (a family of 4 with young children) felt very comfortable in the house and garden, with barbecue, fireplace, pool, playground, trampoline, bicycles and the hangover. The location was optimal for us: With the bikes we were in the old town of Weimar in 10 minutes, on the other hand you could also walk directly over the field to the Ilm or ride a bike on the Ilm bike path. A supermarket with a bakery is within walking distance. We will be happy to come back!

We stayed with 2 families for an extended weekend in Kathi's house. The house and the spacious garden invite you to relax. Everything was clean and well maintained and Kathi was quick to respond to all questions and was very helpful.

We had a wonderful week in the cottage. Mario and Silke are very nice people and always helpful. The house is very cozily furnished, nothing is missing and there are lovingly made details everywhere. The sunsets on the veranda were a dream. Our kids had a lot of fun in the great pool. There is so much to do with and without children in the area that we only managed a fraction. Very good was the fairy world and the fairy cave in Saalburg and the climbing forest and the summer toboggan run in Saale.

Special, appealing ambiance, modern furnishings and top amenities. Absolutely quiet. Easy communication. Possibility to buy drinks. You can go on countless hikes from the property. Perfect for active relaxation and relaxing.

Pleasant host, various cottages in nature, very close to nature. Two lovely family-friendly dogs were the highlight for our children. Activities nearby possible.

A great place to unwind and discover: If you love to explore the surroundings and at the same time value feeling at home, this is the place to be. The accommodation is quietly located, yet you can reach the highway exits in a few minutes. The apartment is tastefully decorated and kitchen and bathroom fully equipped. In terms of cleanliness, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. You can spend great days in the apartment. Because when you look out of the kitchen and living room window, you feel like you're on vacation in Tuscany. Great and well-maintained outdoor area with pool, sitting area, barbecue area and play area for the children. We felt very comfortable and welcome and thank you very much for the nice hospitality.
