There are not enough characters here to describe how wonderful our experience was, the place was extremely spacious, luxurious and crisp clean. It's really great value. The views are incredible, it looks even more impressive in real than in the photos. The location is secluded, if you like to walk, towns are at ~20 minute walking distance or you can order a mototaxi for $2-$3 or so. Jannett was such a gracious host, we had a few tiny issues at start and she solved it so graciously, that we almost felt uncomfortable with her generous solution! The caretaker was wonderful too, as an added bonus we got to take care of their dog who lives on the premises, we miss our dog at home so this was great. There are 3 amazing trails nearby, they are not really marked well, but it's fairly easy to find them. You can easily spend 5-6 days here and do all the trails, visit the villages and unwind and relax. This is a true hidden gem and I would come back here without a doubt!!! Thank you!

The location and scenery are beautiful, the breakfast is delicious and included, and the pool is out of this world. The staff is amazing and dedicated. They arranged our driver for the weekend. There are no complaints, just a few warnings. The location is a bit hard to reach; you might want to hire a driver, rent an ATV or scooter, or plan your stay accordingly. The view of the volcano from my room’s outdoor hammock was simply perfect. One thing to note is that the room lacks a regular toilet. Instead, there’s a fancy hole with steps to get to it, but it doesn’t flush. They will clean it daily. Also, you’ll only get two towels, so ask for extra for the pool. Don’t forget to bring your toiletries, as they’re not included. Bug spray is a must. The room is clean, but expect bugs in the middle of nature , so keep your doors closed. We encountered a frog on our shoes, but again we were prepared because this is not a regular hotel. It’s an amazing experience if you love wildlife.

Staying at Rolland’s place in Popoyo was an absolute dream. The house is gorgeous, perfectly located right by the beach, and incredibly well-maintained. It was spotless and felt fresh, clean, and cared for in every detail. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Rolland himself. His energy is incredible, warm, uplifting, and full of positivity. He’s one of the kindest and most genuine hosts we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, Rolland made us feel completely at home. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and loves sharing the magic of Popoyo. This is a beautiful Airbnb! The area, the place itself, and the people who work there. We loved our time relaxing by the lake and hanging with the pups. The only issue was the WiFi was down the entire time, and our phones had no service. This is out of there control, though posed a bit of a challenge.

One of the prettiest homes i ever had on my travels! A nature paradise just 10 minutes walk from the center. Beautiful and comfortable cabins, laundry service and massage offers. Top equipped kitchen., there’s really nothing missing.. Thanks to Lorena and Benjamin, they are amazing hosts. Hope to come back soon

I’ll never forget the short time I spent at this hostel. It was my first time staying in one, and I honestly don’t think I could’ve picked a better place for the experience. It was clean, private, safe, delightfully designed, well-maintained, and offered a respectful social environment. On that note, I have to say, I met some of the most beautiful, interesting, and intelligent people I’ve ever come across in my life. I would absolutely love to come back, and I hope I will soon. Consider this a wholehearted recommendation. Don’t overthink it, just book your stay already!
