Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Zambia

We were looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to unwind. Hazel's place suited our needs. Hazel's holist retreat has beautiful surroundings. Hazel has also created different spaces to chill in house and outside the house. Hazel's accurate description of services and amenities helped us prepare and plan for our trip. The mini bar in the house was nice touch. Hazel's holist retreat exceeded our expectations. We definitely recommend Hazel's place to anyone.

good lodgings, great host, Chipo, Vera and the team were helpful above and beyond, before I arrived, while there and at the end....just very responsive and highly helpful. they handled my every challenge with ease and efficiency, I plan to use them again

Kim's place (Kafupi's Guesthouse) was a beautiful and tranquil space immersed in the heart of nature. Our family of four had a comfortable stay and it was exactly the type of place we look for when taking time out for a quick break. The house was a lovely space to be in and had a number of useful amenities that made our stay extra comfortable. The staff were friendly and always available to assist us whether it be organizing for the kids to feed the fish in the dam or organizing the fire pit for an evening of making s'mores. I had a fantastic stay in Zambia at this wonderful accommodation. The location is perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind in a peaceful and safe environment, surrounded by beautiful nature! The accommodation itself was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. I loved to be able to cook and the kitchen has everything you need. The bed was cozy and comfortable, the amenities were excellent, and everything was exactly as described. I especially liked the attention to detail, which made the stay even more enjoyable. You can really feel the love and hard work the family put in the house, which they build themselves! The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and helpful, ensuring that everything was perfect throughout my visit. Their hospitality made me feel right at home, and their local recommendations were a great bonus. If you’re looking for a serene and comfortable place to stay in Zambia, I highly recommend this accommodation. I would definitely return! <3

Wonderful spot on the banks of the Zambezi. Terrific and helpful staff. Excellent meals prepared in their kitchen!

Even though we didn’t catch any tigers, we made loads of memories! Murray’s place had a tranquility that was a balm. It was wonderful to retreat and reset priorities, away from devices we played endless card games and laughed more than we thought possible. But we will need to return to catch those elusive tigers!

Nice and quiet location. Perfect place to experience true rural Zambia. There are plenty of backroads and paths where you can make hikes. Clear night skies. The accommodation is basic but comfortable. Very friendly people. During the evenings there is a fire you can sit next to, chat with some of the community members and gaze at the stars. Couple hundred meters from the campsite there is a community school that is providing education to the young children in the area. It was nice to take a visit there and interact with the kids. The school is supported by the campsite owners, so by staying at the campsite you will be making a contribution to their education. Could really recommend, especially if you are looking for an authentic and unique experience.

Love the place , peace, clean , great view of river elephants, hippos, great grill and kitchen! Only one other cottage so you feel very private. No road noise. The perfect area stop!!! Thanks so much ! Great place to to recharge
