9 of us stayed here in August 2024, and it was an absolutely stunning property, with every need considered. We would thoroughly recommend it if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing time away.

Well, this place was so beautiful and great, the view over the sea and the olive yard, that I cannot describe how much peace it gave me. The house is so nice and petite, everything just makes sense. It made me so happy! Everything! Jere, Gordana & Jelena are great, they will make an enormous effort to make you feel at home immediately. I had a terrific five days at the house, for me it felt like it lasted weeks. Will return ;-) Thank you all! (Travelled alone as a female, this place felt totally safe ;-)

It was really great at Josipa and Mirko's Mirko. The two are very friendly and helpful. The place was beautiful, very clean and it was really everything and many more extras than you needed. The area is beautiful and very quiet. There are plenty of shopping facilities. Absolutely great and not touristy. The locals are nice and helpful. A great vacation Thank you Josipa and Mirko 🥰

Ivo and his wife was so helpful and fast to respond to messages. They made us feel so at home and were incredible hosts. The place was high up on the mountain and it was so private, peaceful and tranquil. The views from the property are incredible. The infinity pool is fantastic which also has the fantastic views. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The property is very well equipped for cooking with a hob and outdoor grill. The town of Marina is about a 20 minute drive with a great selection of bars and restaurants and also a supermarket. Enjoyed our trip very much would highly recommend and I will definitely be back. Villa Marta is probably one of the calmest placed AirBnB houses in whole Croatia. One of the nicest tiny villas awaits you there, with a very nice beautiful, very clean and nice temperatured pool. Josip, the host of Villa Marta, is an extremely friendly and helpful person who gives you all the help and advice you need, wether it is a recommendation for nearby locations, or brings you stuff if something in the house is missing on the same day. He greeted us with fresh baguette, cheese and his homemade saussage and some wine. Showed us around and explained everything necessary, how the pool and it features worked, the out and indoor grill, AC, and so on. He is answering very fast and friendly with all the information needed if you chat with him, the communication in English worked without any complications. The villa is located in a very tiny village, but you cannot miss the gateway/entrence where to go with your car, he placed 2 signs at the walls in case you drive through the village from both directions. The house is basically seperated in two smaller houses. The upper house has a small living room with a smart TV, karaoke/music box and a pull-out sofa and an AC, with an open kitchen and a small table with bar stools, the Kitchen has a fridge (with a small freezer box in it), two stoves and an oven, it is equipped with everything you probably need in terms of dishes (yes, there is always some special kitchen tool missing, but let's be real, it does in every AirBnB). There is a small bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. A bedroom with a closet and a TV is the last seperate room in the upper house with a bed that fits a couple in it. The lower house has a seperate entrance to a dining room with the inside grill, a sink, larger fridge, a large table, sink and even a ice cube maschine! You simply turn it on and after a while you have a nice amount of ice cubes for your drink or cooling down your sunburn. The dining room is also equipped with a smart TV, WiFi is good enough to stream movies in all rooms. The other seperate entrance of the lower house leeds you to the 2nd bedroom with a large bed for two people, a closet, another AC and TV on the wall facing the bed. You also have a bathroom with a toilet, sink, shelf and a washing maschine. Josip provides laundry detergent for it and also a drying rack, so you are good to go with washing your clothes. Outside the main highlight is probably the pool that was very clean when we arrived there which also had a nice temperatur. We were able to stay in in the very late evening, the built in light is bright enough to illuminate and makes it look beautiful in the dark. The pool stays clean if you cover it over the night with the plane and turn the lights off so it doesn't attract insects. It has a built in tiny "waterfall" you can see in the picture and underwater pool jets you can turn on (timebased, they turn off after some time), there is also some kind of sitting area under water at those features of the pool. Josip explains how everything works in terms of the pool. The pool loungers are comfortable. Next to the pool you have an outdoor shower, which you can use to clean yourself before and after the pool. The water is pretty cold in the beginning, but some of us did enjoy that. The sitting area outside is comfortable and nicely illuminated in the evening, great to have dinner and playing some games there or just to hang out. If the sun is too bright you can close the curtains. If the ouside lights are turned on, you don't need to worry about missing a step. Every stairs are and areas are well illuminated, which makes it look very beautiful in the dark. Everything was clean and looked exactly like on the photos shown on the AirBnB website. The outside grill is easy to use, Josip provides the wood needed right below it as well as items to start the fire. We didn't use the inside grill of the lower house, we wanted to enjoy the nice weather. The Villa itself is located in a very tiny and extremely calm village. No tourists, no cars driving around, you probably can count them on one hand per day or even week. You don't even hear or at least see any neightbors around. So, if you are looking for a place where you are alone and just want to relaxe, this is the way to go. But that also means that the next larger grocery store is at least a 20 minute car drive away. There is the Thommy Maximarket in Drnis or Lidl in Sibenik or Split. Josip recommended us the "Konoba Campanelo" in Mirlović Zagora. One of the best restaurants with Michelin star niveau we've ever been to, I can only recommend a trip there. You can also visit Split if you want to drive there with the car, it takes around 30 minutes. You should bring some spray against mosquitoes since it appears that there are some in the evening if you are bothered by that. There are enough towels for the bathroom for showering and drying your face/hands but you should bring your own big towels for the pool or the beach. In conclusion we had an amazing vacation at Villa Marta thanks to that nice House and Josip being an awesome host! We can totally recommend it.

Karla is a great (super) host. We felt welcome on arriving. We received the keys and a perfect explanation of her place. The place is wonderful and everything is as described. She also prepared a little meal as we arrived on the 15th of August (national holiday, and everything was closed). Karla was always available for questions and responded very quickly. So a wonderful stay in a wonderful place.

We loved having a private patio and pool. We used the kitchen a lot and had a great time here. The hosts were super helpful and we responsive. I'd recommend having a rental car here as the road to get here is steep at times. The view was so wonderful and was a big reason we decided to stay here as well.
