Junko's place was nothing short of amazing. We would forego the tourist attractions and choose to simply stay in just for the sheer pleasure of enjoying the amazingly beautiful home and scenic/peaceful surroundings. Junko was such a gracious host too. Highly recommended!!

Loved staying at this house! It’s super big, so there was plenty of space to chill and feel comfortable. The view was really nice, and the onsen in the house was such a bonus—perfect for relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here with 10 friends (11 total people) for two nights and we absolutely loved it. We all loved the private onsen, the views, and the patio. The host was so kind and provided local meat for us to grill outside, which we very happily enjoyed. The house was beautiful, quiet, and the room for parking was also convenient. Highly recommend for large groups!

The surroundings are peaceful and you can see Yufu-dake behind the house.The only downside was the variety of cookware, plates and utensils but no bowls alone, which was a bit inconvenient.

Location was very convenient to access restaurants, convenience stores and Yufuin Floral Village. The place was great for us as a quick stop before moving to Aso area.

We had a truly wonderful experience staying at Amane and Takashi's place. It was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, relaxing, and clearly created with care. From the moment we arrived, their thoughtful touches made us feel incredibly welcome. Communication was excellent throughout, and they were always available with helpful advice and kind guidance. Amane and Takashi are genuinely lovely people—gracious, warm, and considerate hosts. We left feeling refreshed and very grateful. Highly recommended!

It felt good overall and the kitchen utensils would have been a bit more if there were bowls

It was a clean and cozy place to stay. The explanation was easy to understand and there were no particular problems, and the surroundings were quiet and the location was good, so we had a very good time. Thank you very much.

The place and the location are both fantastic. It is extremely good value for money compared with our other accommodation in Kyushu. The onsen is great. Beds are comfy. Place is warm. View is spectacular. Close to kurokawa onsen town. Close to ski fields. Easy access from beppu (with winter tyres) For access: In winter you need winter tyres to get to Kurosawa onsen. And the property is a bit higher up. we had heavy snowfall, so chains would be preferable for the driveway (but we parked 5min walk away and walked up instead). The highway to get to kurokawa onsen was closed unless you have winter tyres or chains. So it is necessary

This is the most memorable place I've ever stayed in with my dog.I felt that if the check-in and check-out times were a little longer, I could slow down a little. Thanks for your hospitality.

The way to go is strict, larger cars need to be careful⚠️ However, the location was good and I enjoyed it very much with my family of 5!!

Awesome, beautiful scenery

The facilities are beautiful, fully equipped, and I am very satisfied.

We found our stay to be wonderful! The large tub, sauna, outdoor patio with fire pit and bbq was spectacular. The kids explored in the woods and the kitchen provided everything you need for cooking. No spices, oil or wine opener so bring those items with you :-) it was a 12 minute drive from skiing and there are hiking trails outside the front door. It’s a gorgeous rental 🤍 we will return!

It was very clean and a pleasant place to stay

The location was very convenient—just a short, direct walk of a few minutes to the train station and bus station. It was also very easy to find good food nearby, with plenty of options around. The room was spacious and clean, with both air-conditioning and ceiling fans in good condition, which made the stay comfortable. However, the spring water in the room was too hot to enjoy a proper hot spring bath, which was a bit disappointing.

The only thing was that there were less cooking tools, everything else was satisfactory and the house was nice and clean

Maki & Toru's place is clean and has all the amenities we needed for 9 of us in the family. Loved that they have a private hot spring bath in the apartment to relax after a long day traveling and walking. Maki & Toru have organized everything according to the number of people staying in their place, nothing amiss. Check-in and check-out are all well communicated and all went smooth. Highly recommend the place for anyone staying the night/s in Yufuin.

The location is very superior, just about 5 minutes from JR Yufuin station or bus stop, one exit station has seen the homestay.The interior of the house is comfortable, the view is great, right outside the window is facing the famous Yufu-dake, which is too beautiful to walk to the shopping street near Lake Kinrin is only about 15 minutes walk.There are convenience stores, supermarkets, just a few minutes walk around the homestay.There is a hot spring pool in the house, although it is smaller, but it is enough to feel the hot spring.The little ones loved it and had a great time coming back to the house every day.I very much recommend this B&B!!

Great stay with lots of space and everything is clean & as described. Thought they don't provide shampoo but turns out they do! Lovely stay.
