Vacation rentals with a kayak in Yucatán Peninsula

This was our third stay at Casa Dulce and it will NOT be our last. Great location in Playacar Fase 1 with a private pool to cool off in after walking around 5th Avenue (about 10 minute walk) or spending the day at the beach which is less than 2 blocks from the home. Alizee sent an email before our arrival with restaurant suggestions as well as suggestions of things to do. The AC was a definite plus. We would turn it on before bed and the room was nice and cool for sleeping. Highly recommend this Airbnb location in Playa del Carmen

Honest review: it's fair to say it was a fantastic stay. Amazing sunsets. The hosts were very responsive both before and during the stay. The place is down a long and narrow dirt road but once you get to the home, it's true paradise. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spread out, and there is plenty of room for parking. This home is truly steps from the Gulf and there's ample patio space. I loved the thatched roof area with the table, which had lights for the evening. Wifi was strong. Things to keep in mind (some of which are out of the owner's control): having a rental car is a must, it's down a long road that is a fair walk from main road. Air conditioning is present in every bedroom, but not the main living space/kitchen, which can get warm in hot weather even with the large ceiling fans. There is not much beach in front of the home, and barely any in neighboring properties - it's not an area where you can go for long walks on the beach. Rent this place for a quiet beach vacation!

The property is beautiful. It's great for a family vacation. It was obvious that it was professionally furnished and decorated. Attention was paid to every detail throughout the property. We were not too happy with the town as there was no real nightlife and the town seemed to be pretty impoverished. Thankfully the property was so inviting. We spent a lot of time at the house enjoying the amenities offered by the house. We enjoyed being able to prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The pool house was so nice. We had beach towels available to us. We had a couple of minor issues but they were addressed very quickly. While we were not impressed with Progreso. we were very pleased with the property. Thank you so much!

I cannot recommend Tina's home highly enough. From booking to checkout, the process was easy and seamless. The home is gorgeous and has everything you need and more. The view cannot be beat. The pool was refreshing after a day out snorkeling or into town or to Caye Caulker. Eva, the house manager, virtually acts as a personal concierge - seeing to everything you could possibly need at the house, tons of contacts for snorkeling, fishing, massages (at the dock) and restaurants. She met us as we docked and was available throughout our stay to ensure a wonderful visit to Belize. As noted in the description, the house is a 25-minute golf cart ride on, at times, an unpaved dirt road. It can be bumpy but overall it's definitely worth it. The beds were comfy, the A/C was a dream, and we cooked a few meals there and found everything we needed. We hated to leave but are grateful for the hospitality and beautiful place to visit. If you're considering a San Pedro visit, this is the place!

This place was great. I was there with 12 of my best friends and everything worked out perfect staying at Daniel’s place; the house was a great size and the location was very convenient! We enjoyed being right on the beach, and the pool at the house was perfect for what we wanted. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, private home right on the beach! Walkable to downtown, convenience store, restaurants, etc. The ocean was perfect for swimming and the sandy bottom goes out far! Our pool was also very refreshing. Beach bags and pool towels were provided. The bedrooms are all very nice and large, all with their own well stocked bathrooms. All rooms in this home have great views of the ocean! The kitchen is also well stocked, with plenty of seating and open to the family room. We had several flight problems causing us to arrive a day late. Rene was so kind and offered to have complimentary yummy pizzas delivered to us! Both Rene and Sonia were very helpful with organizing transportation for us, and recommending places to go during our stay. I would highly recommend staying in this amazing home! Thank you again Rene and Sonia for your generosity, kindness, and making us want to come back and stay in your beautiful home!

La villa de Maria Elena est extraordinaire. Très spacieuse, nous avions tous le confort requis. Extrêmement bien équipée, tout le monde y trouvait son compte. Que l’on parle d’ustensiles de cuisine, de serviettes de plages, de meubles pour bébé, de jeux de société, de jouets pour le sable ou d’équipement pour activités extérieures, tout y était. Les lits étaient très confortables. Nous étions 6 adultes, 2 enfants et 2 bébés et tout le monde avait son espace. Les communications avec Maria Elena étaient extrêmement faciles et rapides. Elle nous a fait plusieurs suggestions de restaurants et d’activités. Durant notre séjour, nous avons utilisé les services de Jackie et Toño, le couple qui prend soin de la résidence. Ce sont des gens remarquables et grandement attentionnés. Ils ont préparé les repas pendant la majorité de notre séjour et tout était excellent. Je recommande énormément d’utiliser leur service car ils étaient vraiment géniaux, point fort de notre voyage. Nous reviendrons.

Miguel’s place is wonderful, it was beyond our expectations and even more beautiful than what we expected. It was all clean and put together, Juan who is the person in charge is great and very helpful. We will be back definitely as we had a very pleasant stay. Just worth notice if you need to get to the little towns surrounding the place I would recommend renting a car. Great great location

Es perfecto si quieres pasar unas vacaciones tranquilas lejos de la ciudad, el mar es tranquilo para nadar, para llegar hay que seguir las instituciones ya que Google maps te puede llevar a otro lado. El departamento es muy amplio y con una hermosa vista al mar, esta un poco descuidado pero eso no afecta su funcionamiento. Al llegar no había Internet pero el anfitrión siempre estuvo al pendiente hasta solucionarlo. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Es una casita perfecta para la estancia en Bacalar. 만약 여기서 묵으신다면, 대부분 필요한 것들이 갖춰져 있으니 많은 것을 준비해 갈 필요가 없습니다. 조용하고 아늑한 곳입니다! 3박 4일 동안 정말 잘 지내다 돌아왔습니다.

Excelente alojamiento con acceso a la laguna privado, tienes todas amenidades para pasarla excelente, asador, cocina, mesa, kayak. Muy lindo, regresaremos sin dudarlo.

The Treehouse is such a gem! My only regret is not booking a longer stay. The place is homey, lived in, and the private beach access could not be beat. Rubio, the caretaker, was incredibly attentive and so generous, helping us with the kayaks and always getting us fresh coconuts. It’s a perfect get away and I can’t wait to return!!

We loved our stay at Cristina’s cottage. Perfect little spot for the two of us with a cute rooftop patio. The cottage was very clean and well stocked for our visit. By far the best part though was proximity to the beach, which often felt like our own private beach! We would definitely stay again!

Hemos estado en 5 cabañas de Tulumcito y sin duda con Jorge ya no queremos probar otra más, estamos seguros de que regresaremos, estuvimos súper cómodos, realmente piensan en todo y suplen todas tus necesidades! we had some trouble getting there because the direction and location given an Airbnb were absolutely wrong which unfortunately left us Walking In The Heat with heavy backpacks for about an hour and a half, communicating with the host who thank God was very responsive and ultimately send a taxi for us. once they were there the place was super cute, I would say there are a lot of cabins in the houses crammed into a small space that isn't quite apparent on the photos but it was very quiet although we did pull all the curtains to have some privacy. some staff giving a tour walked right in front of our deck as soon as we got there to show off the lounge area which is several stair steps down from where this cabin is. unfortunately have to close all the curtains all the time because people are walking around everywhere right at eye level. all on all we enjoyed it I thought it was a great location for the value and would certainly come back again

Godfrey communicated with us in advance and arranged pick up from airport to a restaurant (he had a few recommendations) and then being brought from restaurant to the cabin He was very friendly and welcoming The cabin was clean , nice wooden floors, comfortable bed , quite, felt nice with A/C We were able to heat up our breakfast in Mwave and made black coffee

La cabaña tenía una vista maravillosa a la laguna de Bacalar. Desde la propiedad, podías acceder directamente a la laguna para nadar y disfrutar de sus aguas cristalinas. El alojamiento era muy tranquilo y los anfitriones siempre estuvieron pendientes de todo lo que necesitábamos, mostrándose muy amables en todo momento. El entorno era sumamente tranquilo, lo que permitía relajarse y disfrutar plenamente del lugar. Definitivamente, es un alojamiento muy recomendable para quienes buscan un destino sereno y con una naturaleza impresionante. Es importante tener en cuenta que el camino hacia la cabaña puede ser un poco complicado, con ramas, baches y pendientes que pueden representar un desafío.Por lo tanto, se recomienda llegar en un vehículo propio para poder acceder sin problemas. Además, se recomienda llevar la comida y el repelente de insectos, ya que hay varios mosquitos en la zona. En general, es una excelente opción para quienes quieren alejarse del bullicio.

Muy bonito lugar, en medio de la naturaleza y frente a la laguna, re comendado para pasar unos días relajados y en paz.

El alojamiento cumple con las especificaciones publicadas, comodidad, buenas instalaciones .Trato amable de la anfitriona. Muy buena ubicación. La pasamos genial.

I really enjoyed my stay here for a few reasons, the first and biggest reason was how great Stacey and her family was. I was coming out there alone and was on edge but Stacey quickly made me feel safe and comfortable. She also made me a great breakfast every morning. Secondly, If you love nature or just want a peaceful, private getaway, this is the place for you. I got to see spider monkeys and kayak on the creek, it was pretty cool. Lastly, The cabin was very clean and modern, and they provided everything you would need— I loved the shower! It was pretty far from everything, and the road getting out there is pretty bumpy so just be prepared for that, but everything else was great. I had maximum peace out there just journaling, reading, chilling, and spending time with Gods beautiful creation.
