This is an amazing place to rest, relax and unwind. The grounds are incredible and the staff can’t do enough to help. The host has been extremely helpful in organizing everything and we would love to visit again to enjoy such wonderful, peaceful surroundings and meet friends, again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It is an area of Belize we hadn't really been before but it was great to experience. The house was neat and clean and exactly as described. The views are beautiful and the seclusion is peaceful. The only thing I would note was, the walls do not go all the way to the ceiling so that makes it hard for some people to stay up and some to sleep. It does help with cooling the house though. Other than that it had everything we needed. We saw so many birds including 12 green parrots at one point and a flock of 8 parakeets. We saw the monkeys from the deck off in the distance. We evens saw a croc down the street at the river. We also booked a tour to the ATM cave through them and it was wonderful being picked right up at the house and taken there. We rented a car but didn't want to worry about rising early and finding our way there. We would definitely stay here again.

Marcela exhibited remarkable hospitality. Furthermore, she extends that warmth not only towards me as a host but also to other guests. Additionally, her friendliness, warm welcome, and readiness to assist in finding excursions and restaurants was truly exceptional. Moreover, the accommodations were beautiful, lush vegetation, a pool, comfortable beds and plenty of free drinks offered. Marcela’s place is truly an oasis that we will gladly return to.

Ramon has a special place. He built it into an amazing space that is completely eco friendly. It is beautiful location full of color and amazing little vehicle/campers. He is clearly very passionate about his dream and is amazing to talk to about it. He and his friend and cousin were incredibly friendly and welcoming and I would recommend anybody to with him and enjoy a chat about everything from Annona fruit to UFOs. Delightful experience, will be my first stop if I am ever in central Yucatan again. Thank you Ramon and company for the great night!

Wij voelde ons helemaal thuis. De omgeving is heel mooi en natuurlijk. Het huisje is niet luxe, maar het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Goede bedden, kasten, ventilatoren en een douche met warm water. De maya family is heel vriendelijk en gastvrij!!Ze willen met alles helpen. Ze hadden ook leuke tips voor de rest van onze reis. Ze spreken genoeg engels om elkaar te begrijpen. Wij waren met onze kinderen van 7 en 9. Zij vonden het hier heel fijn. We hebben een tour geboekt waarbij we van alles zelf konden doen en maken! Heel leuk. Ook is de gastvrouw, Margarita, nog met ons de jungel en moestuin in gewandeld. We zijn op eigen gelegenheid naar een nabijgelegen lokale gemeenschap geweest. Daar leerde we borduren. Het eten was goed. De kok deed moeite om eten te maken wat de kinderen lekker vonden en wij vonden alles van de kaart lekker, er was veel keuze! Bijna alle drankjes, ook de smooties, waren incl de prijs van de nachten! Het ontbijt was heerlijk! Bedankt!!

Luis is a fantastic host. He made our stay unique and provided great tips for things to do. The breakfast was delicious. Luis even asked for special diets like vegetarian. The room is just as described on Airbnb. If you are fine with a little jungle feeling, we can highly recommend this place

Hermoso lugar, 100% recomendable! Honestamente mejor de lo que esperaba. Sin lugar a dudas regresaría para volver a disfrutar una experiencia diferente alejado de la ciudad y el ruido. Para los niños pequeños y grandes fue de igual manera una increíble experiencia con las actividades al aire libre. Súper recomiendo los paseos a caballo con el excelente apoyo del caballerango Fernando. No dudo en recomendar alojarse en esta hermosa ubicación!

la experiencia en el tipi fue increíble, te desconecta de la rutina, totalmente diferente, me sentí muy segura durmiendo en este tranquilo lugar , la noche fresca, el ambiente súper agradable. pude hacer un bonito recuerdo y experiencia conmigo misma durante mi estancia.

We actually didn’t get the chance to stay there because of a family emergency. However, they were able to help us and issued a partial refund after we had to cancel on the day of the check in. They didn’t have to do that. They did that as a kind act of understanding our poor circumstances. They were friendly, responsive, and helpful with their communication. And we are looking forward to actually staying there next time!

El lugar es tal cual como se describe, fue muy mágico para nuestra familia. Desde que llegamos el vaquero y su esposa nos dieron una hermosa y cálida bienvenida, siempre atentos y dándonos una experiencia de rancho real y mágica. El 2do piso de la casa tiene una amplia terraza, que tiene una vista hermosa a todo el lugar, con una brisa fantástica. Te despiertas con el canto de los gallos, y los sonidos típicos de los diversos animales que tiene el rancho. En la noche, el vaquero y su esposa, nos prendieron una fogata, y estuvimos viendo el cielo lleno de estrellas, fue un momento hermoso para todos. También, está disponible la parrilla a lado de la alberca, así que hicimos una parrillada en familia. Este tipo de experiencia es para personas que quieren un momento relajado, privado y totalmente desconectado de la ciudad y del trabajo.

Wir haben zu dritt mit 5-jährigem Kind 4 sehr schöne Tage auf der Back to Basics Farm verbracht. Für uns war es ein Stop auf einer längeren Reise um zu entspannen. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet (sogar mit Gewürzen), Trinkwasser wurde bereitgestellt und die Waschmaschine funktioniert tadellos. Auf dem Gelände leben viele Vögel, auch viele Kolibris, und nachts brüllen die Brüllaffen. Auf dem Feldweg nebenan haben wir Tapire gesehen. Es gibt keine Klimanlage, aber es wehte ein kühler Wind und alle Fenster können vor den Moskitonetzen geöffnet werden. Nicole war sehr freundlich und proaktiv, ebenso wie die Hausmeister, die auch auf dem Gelände leben. Fazit: Schöner Ort zum Entspannen!

I cannot wait to be back. This place is beautiful and so peaceful, it exceeded our expectations from the very first night. Gracianne, Yuli, and Juan greeted us at the door (the last mile of unpaved road adds an adventurous touch). The location: the absolute best if you plan on visiting Sisal or Celestun because you’ll be approx. 25mins away from both! The suite: spacious, private, charming. We didn’t know what to do with so much space to ourselves. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom huge, and the terrace area with the daybed was super cute but we didn’t even get to use it because we were always at the pool (spectacular). The food: amazing food. Plus, vegan and vegetarian options available. We got the additional meals (picnic to go, dinner, breakfast) and it was so SO worth it. Not did the food taste wonderful (most ingredients were sourced from their own hacienda) but you could tell every plate was prepared with a lot of thought and care. Gracianne and her family are spectacular hosts. We felt so welcomed and at home, and had all the privacy we needed and more. I definitely recommend this place!!! It may just be the best kept secret in Yucatan.

Rancho Paradise es un lugar muy amplio apto para familias con niños, se divierten mucho en la alberca, que se mantiene limpia, tiene aire acondivionado y wifi , todo en general estuvo bien, hay varias actividades como ping pong, basquet y juegos infantiles. Nuestro unico problema es que los taxis salen caros y lo mejor seria rentar auti.

Horse Cottage is a magical place. I enjoyed every minute of my three month stay. Miss Nathalie and Miss Yohan are gracious, friendly and helpful. If you’re looking to explore the area or relocate this is the perfect place to set yourself up.

Une maison magnifique dans un Condo à l’écart de l’agitation du centre ville. La décoration est magnifique avec un côté ésotérique qui renforce l’expérience Tulum.. À réserver sans hésitation.

We had a beautiful and peaceful stay at the Horse Cottages. Nathalie and Johanna are both so helpful, easy going and sweet. The horses and the property are very peaceful and the feeling there is magical. Sarteneja is a stunningly beautiful and friendly village and the shore is just a quick walk from the cottages. We would absolutely stay there again! Thank you!

Me hospede por más de un mes en el espacio Tuxaan, durante el que me sentí libre y contenta. Lo que más me agrada es que permiten la entrada de mascotas, lo que para mi es esencial, mis gatos y perrita fueron super felices de estar en un espacio tan amplio y natural. Lo que más disfruté fue la piscina, que es pequeña pero se siente como estar en el paraíso cuando hay tanto calor. Me hospedé en la biblioteca/escuelita, un lugar muy amplio, lleno de libros, super interesante, la decoración interior es bellísima, muy artística. La cocina está muy completa, es muy lindo comer en un área muy verde. Los baños son austeros pero hay agua caliente aunque no es necesaria, son ideales para los amantes de la naturaleza, ya que recibes visitas de animales que buscan humedad, quizá esto no es para todo el mundo, toma en cuenta que el lugar lo ocupan también especies de fauna como ranitas que son inofensivas y muy hermosas, trata de no perturbarlas! También hay muchas aves y fauna local, cuídala!!!

Staying at Hacienda Kancaba was a dream. We planned an intimate wedding ceremony during our stay for 10 close friends and family, sight-unseen. The property is otherworldly, impossible to describe aside from saying there is certainly no other place like this on earth. Our guests flew in from many places and were annoyed by the drive from Cancun to Espita until we arrived at the property. After that, zero complaints. This is way off the beaten path, a portal to another era, frozen in time in idyllic surroundings. I kept thinking to myself: I cannot believe we get to occupy this gorgeous home; anything relatively similar in the US would be viewed from behind velvet ropes for an entrance fee. It is like if you could rent Monticello… And for whatever it’s worth after all the rest of that sincere gushing, pictures do this place zero justice. It’s ten times as pristine and beautiful in real life. A gem. I expect that I will never see anything else like it in my life.
