We enjoyed our stay, it was an interesting experience to stay in such a remote jungle location. The glasshouse was clean, equipped with everything we needed, and the staff was welcome and provided all support we needed. I would say the privacy was good, however, we could see a neighboring house, and a bit of the road (almost never used by anyone). But once the jungle becomes entirely green, I suppose you will not see anything except nature :) The unpaved road was okay, no issues driving our sedan. however, after rains, it might be a challenge, I suspect. Definitely recommend the place!

His place is amazing if you are looking to disconnect, relax and have a low key trip. He is really kind and flexible, the place have just what you need to enjoy towels, clean bedding and ac. Don’t forget to bring your water en shampoo and body wash. I would definitely recommend his place and look forward to staying there again.

Am I sleeping in an art gallery? Or is it a botanical garden? Or a wine making lab? My host in Maxcunú, Adolfo, is a retired university researcher. He’s an agronomy engineer, but has several hobbies he’s passionate about, always focused primarily on the culture and lands of the Maya. My room, called "Tropical Birds", has remarkable works of art, and indeed, the whole property is covered with fascinating artworks. Adolfo volunteered to pick me up and drop me off at the Tren Maya station, which in any case is near town. It's a pleasant small town, safe to walk at night. Apart from Adolfo's own art gallery and botanical gardens and a few places around the plaza, there's not a lot of touristic interest right in town, but it's well located for several Maya sites, caves, and walking in the hills. The facility is as described with all the things you'd expect in a good airbnb. This is one place where conversation with the host is a definite plus, with his extraordinary wealth of knowledge.

Roxana siempre estuvo al pendiente y la comunicación súper buena. Todo excelente en el alojamiento, no hubo falla de nada. El lugar es tranquilo y cómodo, la casa tiene todo lo que viene en la descripción, es amplia y todo muy bonito. La zona es muy tranquila y está a 5 minutos de la playa en carro.

This place was so much fun to stay at! Very remote back in the jungle and was such a beautiful area. We ordered the breakfast to our rooftop which was delicious! Super cool experience

Logement très fidèle aux photos, dans un cadre magnifique et paisible. L’accès n’est pas des plus simples, mais nous avions été bien prévenus à l’avance et accompagnés : l’hôte fournit un plan clair et reste très réactif aux messages, ce qui facilite grandement l’arrivée. L’annonce précise qu’il faut un gros véhicule : selon nous, pas besoin d’un 4x4 mais il vaut donc mieux éviter les voitures très basses type sport. Une voiture classique fait parfaitement l’affaire. Le lieu est sécurisé (avec contrôle d’identité à l’entrée) et en retrait, ce qui garantit calme et intimité. L’accès à la piscine et au cénote du complexe est facile et agréable. Le logement est bien équipé, notamment au niveau de la cuisine. Seul bémol : les bains sur le toit ne fonctionnaient pas (très rouillés et l’eau ne chauffait pas, même après plusieurs heures de feu), ce qui est dommage car cela faisait partie de l’expérience attendue. Une bonne expérience dans l’ensemble, idéale pour un court séjour au calme,

We had a very pleasant stay at Mauricio’s place. The accommodation was comfortable and exactly as described. Both the host and the caretaker were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We truly appreciated their warm hospitality and support. Would definitely recommend!

My family and I had a great stay. it had a nice large pool and tropical surroundings. 5 minute walk to beach and fifth ave. We have stayed in this area before and love it very much. Very responsive and was a pleasure staying at their house

El trato de la anfitriona muy buena, muy atenta y al pendiente. la casa era cómoda, limpia, lugar tranquilo para descanso y familiar. si volvería. nos gustó mucho el espacio de al frente, había suficiente espacio para jugar fútbol o alguna actividad. había para colgar hamacas por todas partes, super bien. te dejan dos toallas y dos hamacas. si nos gustó.

Eine wirklich gemütliche Unterkunft, die zentral gelegen ist. Allerdings verspeerten mehrere alte, ausrangierte Boote an Land die Sicht auf das Meer. Zudem lebte unmittelbar vor dem Haus ein Obdachloser, der leider seinen Müll dort hortete. Das Restaurant Carolines Kitchen ist direkt nebenan und hat Mittwochs Ruhetag. Man ist fußläufig sehr schnell in der Stadt, am Flughafen und auch am schönen Strand auf der Meerseite. Daryl ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Trotz allem kann man die Unterkunft empfehlen, vielleicht verschwinden ja die Boote wieder und der Obdachlose kriegt sein Müllproblem in den Griff. Ach ja, die Unterkunft liegt neben einer kleinen Kläranlage und je nach Windrichtung, ihr könnt euch den Rest selber denken...

We loved our stay in the Manor! Exceeded expectations, for sure. Wish we had more time to spend and relax here! If I’m ever back in Sabancuy I would stay here in a heartbeat. Close to cenotes & ruins. Friendly people in a friendly town!

Hermoso lugar, alojamiento agradable, contó con todos los servicios, espacioso, tranquilo, acogedor y con acceso directo a la playa. sin lugar a dudas un lugar que vale la pena estar

We had a great stay at Losita’s. She is very responsive and sweet. The large screened in veranda and kitchen area were lovely. There is a beach and restaurants within walking distance.

Es una casita perfecta para la estancia en Bacalar. 만약 여기서 묵으신다면, 대부분 필요한 것들이 갖춰져 있으니 많은 것을 준비해 갈 필요가 없습니다. 조용하고 아늑한 곳입니다! 3박 4일 동안 정말 잘 지내다 돌아왔습니다.

Suzy’s house is beautiful, as is the setting. Very tranquil and peaceful, yet still only a 30 minute drive or so to the beach and also close to Coba. Suzy was super helpful with recommendations and very communicative throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of Tulum downtown.

We're from USA. This was my first time ever staying in Mexico as an adult and my girlfriends first time staying in Mexico EVER. We are both unfamiliar with the culture and barely know Spanish, and in the small town of Homun that makes things difficult! 😅 All the locals were looking at us as we drove by, people were trying to sell us cenote tours, awkward, but never felt unsafe😊 There is a store right around the corner we were able to walk to, Maria offered us restaurants in town, and the local cenotes were BEAUTIFUL! This house is a perfect location central to multiple ruins like Uxmal and Chichen Itza, and offered a far more cultural and local experience ❤️ Much more meaningful than a fake resort The amenities were great, so many places to sit and relax we did not even use them all! Full kitchen was great, bathroom, etc. Bed was very stiff but I was so tired I didn't care. AC kept the house cool at night. The pool is 2m deep! For adventurous beginners only! Thank you Maria :)

Petit paradis au milieu des fleurs. Calme, propre et accueillant. Deux nuits très agréables passées ici. Nous y reviendrions avec plaisir. Il faut absolument avoir une voiture par contre, mais Valladolid et les cenote Zaci ou Oxamn sont très proches.

Hermoso alojamiento y muy agradable. Joaquín fue increíblemente muy accesible y atento con nuestras necesidades. Es más bonito que en las fotos y sin duda volvería. Este alojamiento es perfecto para quienes quieren un fin de semana de descanso alejados de la ciudad, estas 100% en contacto con la naturaleza sin dejar las comodidades de lado. Lo que nos sorprendió es lo equipado qué está el alojamiento, hay de todo para lo que sea que necesites. Estamos encantados. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
