Set between the Brecon Beacons and the Gower Coast, with 10 acres of meadow bordered by a small river The Annexe offers the perfect getaway for dog owners and nature lovers alike. We have a huge variety of wild flowers and bird life and our dark skies offer perfect opportunities for star gazing. We are rural but not isolated and surrounded by castles, beaches and the National Botanic Gardens is just 15 minutes away. Further out are the Gower and Tenby beaches and walks and waterfalls of Brecon.

Yr Hen Stabl

Yr Hen Stabl is a dog friendly, converted farm stable full of character and charm. It is simply furnished with antique Welsh furniture and textiles. The cosy interior with wood burning stove offers a comfortable space in which to relax after long walks in the Brecon Beacons or from which to work remotely. Based near to the waterfalls, the cottage provides easy access to outdoor activities such as wild swimming, gorge walking and hiking. It is also conveniently situated for the Gower coast.

The little lodge

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil, self contained getaway. A rustic, little lodge with a pretty kitchen Including a small fridge, grill / hob, kettle and coffee machine. A shower room. Breakfast table. Living room with a smart television. A cosy, mezzanine bedroom with double bed. There is a small, private garden to the front. Walks from the front door along the beautiful river that leads onto mountains, you'll be into the National Park within 2 miles. Two cosy riverside pubs serving food within walking distance from house. Fantastic Ystradgynlais a short drive away with supermarkets and coffee shops. Waterfall Country, National Caves nearby Swansea, Mumbles, Gower coastline and many so many other attractions within an hour’s drive.

Cosy 1 bed barn conversion with log burner

Red Kite barn is a recently converted barn in a beautiful courtyard setting, located between the villages of Llandybie and Derwydd in Carmarthenshire. Self-contained with your own entrance, a truly comfortable home from home to stay in, whilst exploring the beautiful Welsh countryside. It is attached to a bigger barn where we live, and another 2 bed opposite. We are dog friendly, please read the house rules before booking, and please let us know if you are bringing your dog at time of booking.

Capel Cartref - a detached 5 bedroom holiday let, between Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) and Swansea. Graded 4 star by Visit Wales it has 4 double beds, (1 en suite), plus 1 room with 2 single beds, plus a bath and shower room. (3 bathrooms in total). The kitchen is equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, two fridge freezers. The lounge is spacious with extra upstairs seating . The garden is enclosed but beyond the back gate is parking for four cars.

Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!
