If you are looking for a place away from it all, in the heart of nature, the Gîte la Parenthèse is for you. This stone-walled building perched at 1300 m altitude will seduce you with its calm and its view of the Monts d'Ardèche plateau. This 50 m2 accommodation adjoining our main house and another cottage is totally private and independent. Finally, its wood-burning stove will warm you in winter, while its altitude and large stone walls will cool you during heat waves.

Bordered by the forest and surrounded by vast spaces, the house enjoys absolute calm to enjoy nature at the edge of the Loire gorges, not far from the Ardèche and Lozère. Former pigsty of my grandfather, the house has been completely renovated in recent years to offer you all the necessary comfort during your stay.

This log is in the middle of the trees on the Chapelle d'Aurec. Welcome to Mars! Located at the end of the road, it's the gateway to nature! New, well insulated, the cottage is nice without TV or Wi-Fi, leaving room for disconnection. Shop/cafe in the village and summer market on Friday morning. The larger villages are 10 minutes by car (Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, Tence, Saint-Agrève) Close to Mézenc and Lisieux for outdoor activities. Pets welcome!
