We had such a wonderful week in Corfu! The accommodation is so spacious and the pool is a massive plus! The late night swim was one of our favourite parts of the trip with such great scenic views including the airport runway. A car is probably recommended if you want to get around the island on your own accord, but the busses are frequent and easy to use if you don’t mind walking up/down the hills which is what we did. There are coaches to further beaches which don’t come up on google maps which A tip: save the chapel by the gates as a location on google maps to direct taxis in the evening. Effy is such a wonderful host and so accommodating, she really doesn’t need to go the extra mile as she does but it’s greatly appreciated. She insisted on picking us up and taking us to the airport, and to the bus stops too if she was around. She’s so helpful with recommendations too of where to go as we didn’t really have a plan. We’d definitely recommend staying here to friends.

We had a wonderful stay! Lucia was very friendly and welcoming, with a genuinely great personality that made us feel right at home. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Would definitely recommend staying here, and we’d love to come back again.

We were three people traveling—myself, my wife, and my 83-year-old father—on a family trip, and this rental was a great fit for our needs. The location was ideal: quiet, picturesque, with restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, and major attractions easy to reach by car. Having a dedicated parking spot was a big plus. The apartment itself was clean and practical for our needs, but the real gem was the large sea-view balcony. We spent time out there every single day - it became our shared space, especially since the inside was quite small and didn’t have much of a common area. That was something we knew ahead of time from the listing so it wasn’t a surprise. Overall, it was a lovely stay. It felt like the right place for our little family getaway, and we’d definitely come back. No complaints - just good memories.

The peaceful and private location right at the water's edge is unbeatable. You can have breakfast and dinner in the garden, use the sun-loungers and go swimming in crystal clear water. Sotirios gave us a lot of helpful information on sightseeing off the beaten track. Restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance if you don't have a car. We would love to come back.

I am originally from Corfu but I've been living abroad for most of my life. I contemplated writing this review in Greek, but the reality is that Corfiots already know what a gem of a flat this is. So I am writing this in English to help anyone else who wants to visit. This is the most amazing AirBnB you will find in Corfu old town, period. If you've watched the Durrell tv series and wondered how it would feel to live in that era, but with modern amenities and comfort, look no further. Maria and Francesca's place is the most warm, authentic, well-kept, 200 year old apartment I have ever been to. St. Spiridon, Old and New Fortress, Liston square, Faliraki beach, Yacht Club, Kapodistrias' home, the Sunrise and Sunset are all there for you to enjoy from your countless windows or the one-of-a-kind Belvedere outpost, accessible by an interior staircase. Now, if you happen to spend Greek Easter here, you are in for a treat. You can see the fireworks, marching bands etc. right in front of you!

Amazing view, spacious, so close to the beach. Two balconies! Shops and tavernas all less than 5 minutes walk away. Beautiful place to stay, and great commmunication from the host! Just wouldn't recommend using the washing machine though unless you really need to - or at least be prepared to hand-wring your clothes.

The apartment is located in the middle of a three-house, next to the owners and on the other side a larger vacation apartment. It has a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds, a kitchenette and a small bathroom, (no living room), and a nice terrace accessible via a bedroom with a large table and loungers on the lawn in front of it. The house is located directly on the steep slope above the sea with fantastic views and the sound of waves. A small detour only 5 minutes' walk to the magnificent, not overcrowded sandy beach. The owners are extremely nice and have constantly given us salad and oranges from the garden, food, cookies, etc. Unfortunately, we don't speak Greek, so mostly sign language. In 5 minutes on foot there are three restaurants, by car 15 minutes to more touristy places. If you're looking for peace, wonderful views and exceptionally friendly landlords, this is the perfect place. THANK YOU!

The apartment was really nice with a spectacular view to the sea, even from sleeping room. A nice garden and all the equipments for cooking and all what you will need for a nice holidays. They were so nice and prepared a bed and high chair for our 2.5 year old daughter. Everything was so safe for a kid, the balcony and the garden with good fences and high stable glasses, so we could enjoy without worrying so much about the security of our kid. They welcomed us with some drinks and a gift box from local products. It was so nice of them. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this place. Thanks again for everything.

We had a wonderful time staying here! The place is cosy, spacious and very clean with a great terrace overlooking the bay. Nia was an absolute amazing host. She made us feel welcome right from the start. It's a great location to drive to the beautiful beaches of Corfu and if you want to leave the car behind there is a restaurant nearby and a nice local grocery store just next door. We would definitely recommend going to the bakery/grocery store next door for breakfast, a coffee, nice pastries or even an apero. Also the taverna's in Lakones are worth a visit for a coffee or a drink. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

the apartment was very clean and welcoming. we had everything we needed. I loved waking you to the sound of cockerals and the birds and the garden is beautiful, about a 6 minute drive to the closest beach. There is also a lake nearby. I had hired a rental car so we could get to other areas and this is wise as this apartment is set away from the busy areas. The area is so peaceful and Nick was very helpful when I needed help with my phones WiFi and data! Nicks Mum was also very helpful and around when we needed her. All in all we had a lovely stay, and I would highly recommend coming here. Hopefully we will come back next year :) Thanks Nick and his Mum, we had a lovely stay!

Very nice, clean and cute house in a lovely little village. Great for couples looking for something quiet and romantic, but also has buses several times a day to Corfu town and Agios Gordios beach. The host communicated well, was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Definitely recommended!

Nice and clean apartment,in a peaceful area.Supermarkets restaurants,and bus stop was near. It is near to 2 beaches ,Kondokali beach and Gouvia beach.The apartment have a first aid kit which was useful.I really liked the small garden and the small visitors that would come often there 🐈.I will definitely recommend this place.

Athanassia and her parents were incredibly friendly and made us feel like home. We were greeted with a wonderful dinner cooked by Athanassia’s dad and it was such a fantastic, friendly welcome! The place is wonderful. You can never get bored of the beautiful views from every room. It is perfect for 3-4 couples / small families. There was enough space for everyone and we never felt “stuck” with the same people. The pool is such a wonderful addition and a complete must have in hot summer months. We absolutely enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and did cook quite a lot. Swings is a nice addition for families with small kids - it was the main place to hang out. Also the garden is big and has many trees and plants and it was amazing to just roam around and for kids to look for bugs and flowers. They were never bored there and we stayed for 11 nights! Loads of tavernas in 5-10min drive distance. The roads near by are not really for walking so we suggest to use car for commuting. Thank you so much ❤

We were there around Easter. We enjoyed the time very much, as Socrates always only talked to us when spoken to, otherwise he kept to the background. He lives in the immediate neighborhood. Contact always super nice. The location is pleasantly quiet, well away from the larger vacation resorts, so that even in summer you can probably find a very little visited beach section directly behind the house (phenomenal direct view of the sea/ sunsets), or with us it was only over the small directly accessible across the street via its other property. Located right on the CorfuTrail. You should have a rental vehicle to be able to go shopping and especially to go out for food. The north offers so much variety to discover. Google it or ask Socrates🙂. You should definitely take advantage of the location. It was just wonderful. We'd love to come back! His dog and the cats in the area have visited us before - super cute animals. See you soon.

We had a wonderful holiday and really enjoyed beeing at Stamatis house. He and the whole family are very friendly and caring hosts. The location of the apartment is perfect. It's quite, has a breathtaking view, the beach, good restaurants and shops are close to reach.

Lidovois was super nice in helping me bring my bike and bags into his car on the way to my departure. We also discussed various topics together. Everything was perfect and really relaxing in the apartment. The beach is 5 minutes away and it's great because it's not too overrun with deck chair rentals. Great. Eric

The apartment is in a top location and decorated in style with the area. We in particular enjoyed sitting on the little balcony, watching live go on in the street below. A street musician passed one evening while the swallows would be visiting us every morning and evening. An excellent stay in a beautiful town.

Zoe is an amazing host that I cannot recommend enough. Such a lovely, welcoming person who checked in with us throughput our trip to corfu and dropped us tea bags, coffee, sweets and snacks. A beautiful artistic apartment that we both never wanted to leave! Amazing view of the old fortress in corfu town and lots of tasty restaurant nearby.

Very nice room, great location

We had a great time in Angelas Studio. Close to the studio were many restaurants and nice beaches. Angela and George were very kind hosts and provided us with tips for the area. We always felt welcomed and recommend a holiday at this studio.

Myrto was very helpful, accommodating a very late check in. She responded quickly to any questions we had and went out of her way to help. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and within easy walling distance of the old town of Corfu. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying at Myrto’s place.

Ioanna has a great apartment here! The location on the edge of the old town in the second row on Saroko Square is ideal for a tour in the evening, shopping in the morning for breakfast on the beautiful balcony, etc. The beds are comfortable with many different blankets and pillows, the kitchen is well equipped, hot water works perfectly. There is, apart from the guarded parking lots, also from time to time a free one in the neighborhood, we were there at the end of May and always found one. The buses depart from the square. Absolute recommendation for Corfu City!

Loved our stay. Mary and Aris made us feel very welcome. As well as their dog and cats who greeted us everyday. The apartment was as described and literally a stones throw from the beach and about 5 minutes from the main street. We would definitely stay again if we came back to Acharavi
