There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a nice log cabin from 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a barbecue hut and a sauna terrace. After the sauna, jump from the sandy beach into the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, there is another sauna and a hot tub, which can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo, a barbecue area and a rowboat. Tunnelmallinen studio-lomamaja puiden keskellä kauniin järven äärellä. Mökissä tupa (25m2), sauna ja kylpyhuone. Tuvassa keittiönurkkaus, takka, TV, ruokapöytä, kaksi sänkyä, pieni sohva ja nojatuoli. Ulkoverannalla pöytä ja tuolit. Alueella voi uida, kalastaa, marjastaa, metsästää, patikoida, hiihtää, lumikenkäillä ja moottorikelkkailla. Lisää liikuntapaikkoja ja muita käyntikohteita 15-30 minuutin ajomatkan päässä. Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located at lake Norvajärvi with direct access to lake in both winter and summer time. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights or cosy up by the open fire in winter. We are 20km out from Rovaniemi city and driving time is apprx 30min. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water and water for washing in sauna is taken from the lake.

Nivankylä village is located 10km from Rovaniemi city centre. Our place is almost hidden by the trees in local village. Here you can spend your holidays in your own peace. Me and my husband have built for you a little log villa with love. We have rebuilt place with own hands with touch of local culture. Logs are from 50-century. In case you need a help, we would be helping you because we live very nearby. Help is always near. You will be our quests and we will be there for you.

The cabin has a rowing boat, coal grill and an outdoor eco toilet to crown the traditional wilderness cabin feeling. The double bed and outdoor jaquzzi bring the luxorious feel to the place, and the private shore with a pier where you can sit and enjoy the calm nature around you.

Our cottage is conveniently located along well-maintained roads, making it easily accessible. Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights. A 70m2 cottage for rent in a campsite on the beautiful Tornionjoki river. In the summer, the accommodation is used as a recreation and maintenance building. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities: ski trails and official sled routes in the nearby forest, Aavasaksa and Ritavalkea ski resorts about 25 km away. Pörröporo souvenir shop/café approx. 500 m, nearest shop in Pello approx. 23 km. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay!
