This Airbnb is an absolute gem! Homestay is fully equipped, spotless, and well cared! The privacy is unbeatable. With a beautiful garden and no immediate neighbors, we could relax, laugh, and enjoy ourselves without worry. The peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a true retreat. The location is perfect, away from noisy main roads, offering pure tranquility. And the kitchen—wow! Spacious, airy, and perfect for cooking, especially with fresh organic vegetables from the garden and generous neighbors who share their delicious homegrown produce. The garden even has grapefruit and papaya trees, so we enjoyed fresh fruit straight from nature! Finally, the host is beyond amazing—100 out of 10! Incredibly kind, always available, and quick to help with anything. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-equipped, and truly special place in Yen Bai, this is it. We’d absolutely stay again. Stayed here on our drive to Ha Giang and the Homestay was perfect with a cute and zen coffee garden!

Recently constructed guesthouse in a heavenly location. Set right on the bank of a small lake, this spot is the quiet and peaceful getaway you need from the polluted, noisy Hanoi. The rooms are well built with a modern standard, including a big TV, proper AC, and large windows letting in lots of light. Everything was clean and good as new. The small rooms are on the ground floor and the views could have been nicer if the building was slightly nearer to the lake itself - climbing to the upper floors provides a proper vista. The host, Dzung, was very friendly and welcoming, and it was enjoyable to hang out with him and learn about his life. He offers kayaking (free) and jetski rental (paid), as well as a dinner and breakfast made by his family. All in all a wonderful place to stay with very few, if any, things to mind. Well worth the 3 hour trip from Hanoi, but slightly overpriced for Vietnamese standards.

The space is quiet, comfortable and airy, not far from the center so it is also very convenient. Clean, well-equipped rooms and any services I requested were met.

Vi is a very friendly and open host. She was always reachable and helped us with everything we wanted to know. The room was clean and looked like the pictures. There is an AC so that you can set the room temperature you want. The bathroom is very nice. It has no windows and is therefore open. The property is very beautiful and has many traditional details. It is very easy to relax with the calm music, the green surrounding and the lovely decoration. There is also a small restaurant on the property where you can book good breakfast and dinner, as well as coffee and snacks for reasonable prices. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much, Vi! We definitely recommend this accomodation :)

My family arrived at Vi's place after flying in from Huế and immediately felt soothed by the natural oasis tucked away from the town, with a library, affectionate cats, and a fire for company. Everyone there is very sweet; Vi especially is not only a responsive and enthusiastic host, but someone who genuinely connects with those who cross paths through her humor and conviction. The accommodations were very comfortable (although sound leaks easily) and Vi simplified our travels by arranging our transfers from the airport and to our next destination. Our spirits felt restored after just one night, and we would love to stay longer on our next visit.

What can I say? Everything was absolutely amazing, Vi welcomes you to a soothing place, tastefully decorated. The kindness and hospitality they showed us were amazing. She arranged all our bus transfers for arrival and departure. Go there without a second thought, really. She rents scooters, lots of pretty things to visit nearby, waterfall, Lake Thac Ba… The only regret? Not staying long enough. Thanks so much for everything 🤍 We'll remember it for a very long time. Bonus: the cute little cats.
