The Roosevelt

I built this cabin in 1989, this property has a lot of history, it was part of the land that my father in law acquired from the Roosevelt program, I believe that was in 1932, he was one of the few original settlers. we have 25 acres we are in process of making walking trail that will wind back and forth through the entire property. will be a good chance of seeing all kind of wildlife including deer turkey, squirrels and all kind of birds. Travel the tree lined drive to arrive at this historic cottage, nestled among the 17 acre estate built in 1875, offering a peaceful respite from city life. With mostly original finishings, the cottage provides a very rustic, woodsy appeal, complete with original, if not slightly uneven charmingly creaky floors, lots of beautiful trees and leaves, and many lovely birds and critters. The Nest is no-smoking and smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. It is a peaceful getaway and great for a romantic weekend or quiet retreat. Canoes, kayaks, trails, and a fire pit are available plus the kitchen is stocked with everything you’ll need. Close to Serenbe, Newnan, and the Atlanta Airport. You’ll love my place because of the arty style, the peaceful vibe and the beautiful lake view. The cottage is on 34 private acres and directly behind the main lake house.

The Red Barn

This cute red barn has been turned into a cozy guest cabin nestled in the woods. A spacious 750 sq. feet, 1 queen bedroom, 1 bathroom and a full size pullout sofa bed. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood in North Macon close to several restaurants and shops. You will only be a 12 minute drive to a thriving downtown, where you will find music, restaurants, and breweries. Just 2 miles from Wesleyan College and 4 miles from Mercer University.

Mistical cabin in the woods near Callaway!

A short drive to Callaway Gardens! Few people even know it exists except the owners whose family has occupied this land since 1835 . We are an hour South of Atlanta. The cabin is not primitive. It has all the modern convenience sitting on a 20 ac tract with bigger tracts of land adjoining. I have a five person sleep accommodation but if you are a larger family I can make an allowance. It is a very safe area and we are available if you need us.
