Ren’s place was awesome! The house is secluded enough to feel liek you’re away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but not super off the beaten path. Ren was super friendly as well and provided good instructions for getting to and from the house. The hot tub was really nice as well and didn’t require a bunch of steps to use. Would definitely go back for a weekend away trip!

Our family had the absolute best experience staying at Debbie’s incredible cabin this past weekend! We gathered to celebrate my father’s 70th birthday with kids and grandkids, and we truly could not have pulled off such a memorable and successful weekend without this amazing home. The cabin itself is breathtaking — spacious with three floors to spread out, a pool table that kept everyone entertained, tons of board games for family time, and a hot tub overlooking one of the most stunning mountain ranges we've ever seen. Being the very last house at the end of a mountain road made it feel incredibly private and peaceful — exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for. That kind of seclusion is rare and made all the difference. Everything in the house was in perfect working order — you can tell Debbie takes great care of the property. From start to finish, her communication was fantastic. She was responsive, thoughtful, and quick to take action on anything we needed. 1 MILLION STARS!!!!!!

This is a magical space! I am so glad we found Ginny's hidden oasis. It was quiet and peaceful. My wife and I fell asleep each night to the sound of rain on the roof and/or the serenading of frogs and creepers. We will definitely return!

The house was beautiful and comfortable. It had snowed the day before we arrived, so we did not use the deck, but it was lovely. The beds were comfy, and the pillows were the best I've had at any Airbnb. The private road to the house is narrow and winding, but Google Maps worked great to get us there. A portion of the road had washed out during Hurricane Helene, so I was glad I had all wheel drive to get through that section. The house was well provisioned with essential spices and such.

This is by far the best Airbnb that I’ve ever stayed in. CLEAN. BEAUTIFUL. PRIVATE. ROOMY. COMFY. TASTEFUL. UNIQUE. This property is in the perfect location- an extremely quiet space that is close to it all. The home is exactly like the photos, if not better! The deck is AMAZING. Beautiful garden and creek down the driveway. 10/10. Book it right now.

A great place to stay. We had 12 family members attending a wedding in the area. Everyone loved the home. It's a historic home, but all the modern conveniences.

A pristine home in an amazing private community. Full equipped with kitchen, bath, and extras. Always great recommendations and responsive to questions. Highly recommend for families that enjoy nature and privacy.

I stayed for 3 months. Michael was a wonderful host, good communication and easy to work with. The cabin is very nice and peaceful with lots of wildlife and cows across the street. Only negative is the pot and pans were unusable so I just grabbed a cheap set at Walmart.

Rob was an incredible host! Property was gorgeous and was easily accessible. Would totally recommend to anyone looking to camp in the area.

Kemp's place was a fantastic getaway for a low-key bachelor weekend in the mountains. It looks even better in person - both house and surroundings - and has everything one could want out of a weekend house outside of Asheville. Kemp himself was incredibly proactive in terms of instructions on getting inside, what to do with garbage, etc., and he was wonderfully responsive when we had questions or needed clarification on anything. Overall, an ideal experience. I hope not to have to plan another bachelor party again, but if I do, I will recommend this house to a person I know just the same as I am right now to you, the viewing public. 10/10.

We had a wonderful stay at Bears Den Cottage in Barnardsville. The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and offered a peaceful escape with beautiful mountain views. We especially enjoyed starting our mornings with coffee listening to the river rushing. The host was communicative and provided helpful local recommendations. Perfect for a relaxing getaway! This was our second time staying at Claudia and John’s place. It was extremely private and peaceful. Our grown kids loved it too, because it was nostalgic and artistic. They have countless video cassette types, the kind we went to Blockbuster for. They also have a closet full of board games. We spent all of our nights playing Monopoly and admiring the ceramics and drawings around the house. It felt like home. It felt like it did when our children were little. Now they are grown and on their own. We just loved being together in that space.

Great cabin! Perfect for what we needed on our AT hike. Close to the trail heads, clean, and cozy

I had a great month long early spring stay at this mountainside studio condo with beautiful mountain and valley views. The unit was clean, comfortable, relaxing, and was perfect for my very simple needs. There are many on site and nearby (non-ski season) mountain hiking trails and quiet neighborhood road walking routes. I appreciated having access to the heated indoor pool and fitness room in the community clubhouse. Overall, a wonderful spot for anyone looking to enjoy the mountains!

This was our second stay with Jody and Shaun. They are the nicest hosts and we loved our cabin with its private porch looking at the woods. Perfect for a couples romantic getaway. They were almost finished with the construction of their pool but the fire pit area was completed. They are doing everything first rate so it will be fantastic when it’s done. We hope to be back again dome day. .

We had a great time at the Lazy Bear Lodge! It was so nice to be able to relax and unwind for the weekend surrounded by the peaceful mountains. Lovely home and equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Thank you guys for a wonderful time!

What a great place! Also the host was very kind and great communication! Very nice place and only 10 minutes from Sugar Mountain. Wonderful amenities including pool, hot tub, sauna, library, shop, workout room etc etc. Only (potential) issue which is no fault of the owners is that this is a large 10 story condo complex. On busy days, especially around the weekend it can get very busy during check in and check out and you have to park outside of the guard shack and get shuttled back to the condo. Again, we didn’t really have much of a hang up but others did-just something to keep in mind. Fantastic place, and well equipped! Thank you again!

Josh was very flexible and responsive for a last minute stay. The backyard is beautiful and we felt right at home. Josh also gave lots of great recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay in Asheville!
