Host was responsive when we had questions and was easy to find. The surrounding area was peaceful and we had such a relaxing stay. We loved the onsen both indoor and outdoor. The restaurants nearby were also delicious. I was surprised that I was provided with meal vouchers for the stay, this was a bonus! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Yamagata Prefecture Licensed Private Lodging No. 1 Guest House Saito/Perfect for groups/solo travelers! The house has great air.

The host is quite experienced with travelers. The written instructions in English need some proof-reading but it is easy enough to figure out what they mean and the host is able to explain. His house is next door so he is very responsive. Property includes an off-street parking space if a car is rented. About 15-20 walk to the train station. Quiet neighborhood. Vending machines, grocery and/or convenience stores are all within walking distance. Two sleeping rooms upstairs were more than enough for myself, my wife and teenage son. We did not use the stove; microwave and fridge were all we needed. Were able to wash clothes. Drying is via a coin laundry or hung to dry.

Even though it was a short stay, checking in at 15: 00 and checking out at 8: 00 the next morning, I was completely immersed in its charm. Spacious space and exquisite open-air bath The open living room and spacious open-air bath are the best!Surrounded by fresh greenery, listening to the sound of birds, the hot spring was a truly blissful time. Enjoy comfortable facilities and nature Cooking is also comfortable with the fully equipped kitchen.I was able to relax in a space surrounded by nature. It was also clean◎. Even if it's short, I'm very satisfied! Even for a short stay, I was able to fully enjoy the hot spring and the space, and I was very satisfied.I highly recommend it for those who want to forget the hustle and bustle of the city and be healed in nature!

[Private Dog Run & Mini Golf] You don't have to bring anything! A private home where you can quietly gaze at the stars with your beloved pet

Rating, 5 stars1 day ago
This time, I stayed with my mother and niece, who live separately, and my six children. Kitekero gave us suggestions and advice on various points well in advance, and although it was our first private stay, we had an experience that exceeded our imagination and expectations. When I told them that my mother had bad legs, they suggested that we set up a futon and mattress in the living room, and I thought I was very lucky to have such a kind owner for my first private stay. I wonder if it's okay to give such detailed advice on the day of the event?I was very impressed with the fact that they responded immediately to things I didn't understand, and (although I couldn't make a reservation at a super popular restaurant) they told me about a restaurant run by a local butcher shop that only locals know about, and their advice was accurate. In the end, I was able to procure good quality Izawa beef steak at a low price at a recommended butcher shop, and I also bought the ingredients for the next day at a nearby supermarket, and with the clean dishes, cutlery, cookware, and seasonings that were provided, I was able to serve a feast that was no different from home (of course, the quality of the ingredients here was definitely exceptional), and the guests were very satisfied. Also, for reference, this time I went to soak in the Mitaka-no-Yu hot spring, part of the Gokurakuyu Group. Dear Sauna users! The temperature of the auto-ryu and water baths, the environment for outdoor air baths, and the price, which is unthinkable in Tokyo, made it a real paradise! I would love to stay again if I go to Yonezawa, and I would definitely recommend it to my acquaintances! Thank you, Kitekeru!Come back someday!
