Monthly Rentals in Yahara River

Jason is a welcoming and gracious host. He made us feel very much at home and was always responsive. The basement apartment worked great! Jason clearly put a lot of thought into designing a cozy place. There’s plenty of space and plenty of natural light. We also appreciated both having a kitchenette and access to the main kitchen. The location made it easy to get to the places we came to Madison to see, and it was also close to plenty of restaurants and other amenities. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic host (Paul) provided a wonderful space to stay. It was clean, organized, and well stocked with supplies. Definitely recommend for long-term stays. Quiet neighborhood with large shopping area about a 10 minute drive away. Paul maintained open communication and was always available if needed. I would certainly stay here again in the future!

Went to a show at the Sylvee and stayed at MacFarland House after. Really enjoyed the convenience of a late night bar next door for pizza before bed and then to wake up to the luxury of walking down a flight of stairs to get a fresh, healthy smoothie for breakfast, return to our room to slowly finish waking up then departed with a fantastic breakfast/lunch and coffee on our way out. The owners are currently remodeling the 2nd floor units; thankfully no construction was going on when we stayed since we were on the 3rd level. Since no one was staying below us the only noises we heard weren't until a private party was in the event room downstairs late morning/early afternoon.

Barbe's place has beautiful gardens and landscaping with a private patio where you can watch the birds fly in and out. The interior is comfortable and homey, yet very stylish. The place is spotless and well stocked with all the necessities. We slept well and would stay here again. Thanks Barbe!
