Nantygwynfan Cottage - Ty Hughes

We've stayed here before. I only mention that because what other recommendation do you need if it's somewhere you go back to? We love the private dog-friendly location and private garden - not to mention the jacuzzi. Excellent kitchen, shower room, TV, dining table and bedroom. A short drive from New Quay and Aberaeron. The host Rachel is lovely and friendly - also responsive in answering messages.

A wonderful two night stay at this charming cottage. Beautifully decorated on both floors, spotlessly clean, quiet and private surroundings - well thought out in design. Sophia was a gracious and helpful host (sorry Sophia we forgot to write in the guest book 😩). Can’t recommend enough for a quiet break! Robin & Jennie

The Malt House Cottage, with Wood-fired Hot Tub

KaitRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Myself & my partner stayed at the malt house for 5 days for our honeymoon, we wanted something quiet, relaxing but also close to beaches & activities & this area did not disappoint. The cottage was absolutely immaculate, the bed was so comfy & the grounds & hot tub just made this place 10/10! we seen wild rabbits in the garden which made it even more amazing! It was private, but also gave a very secluded safe feeling. The hosts were amazing, especially Sam who kept in touch, and was on the other side of the phone if we ever needed anything, he also changed the hot tub water for us half way through as we were staying a few days! Thank you so much, we would definitely come again & id definitely recommend staying here if anyone was looking for a beautiful and relaxing place to have a break away!

Wren cottage was lovely warm and cosy spotlessly clean and the fresh homemade cakes were delicious, it was the perfect size for the two of us and our medium sized dog with a lovely area for him to walk and see the chickens. It is ideally situated with short drive to Narberth and Tenby and the owners lovely and welcoming there if you need them but not intrusive if you don’t. Would stay again if heading that way.

My husband and I had a nice stay at Tu’s cottage. The horses in the field out the front door were so fun to watch. Tu was responsive when we had a battery that needed replaced in the chipping carbon monoxide detector and sent her son right away with batteries and a replacement. If you want a place close to the cliff walk along the beach and a peaceful place in the country, this cottage is for you.

Cwtch Kate

PHILIPRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Cwtch Kate. The cottage is located a five minute drive from Newport in Pembrokeshire, we walked this a few times and it took us 35 minutes along a quiet and safe country lane with nice views along the way. Bluestone Brewery and Taproom is a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction and well worth a visit. The cottage itself is very nice. Set down a track off the country lane, it is spacious, comfortable and in a peaceful location with a nice garden that has views over the countryside.

The Folly: A charming, secluded waterside cottage.

PoppyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway. Beautiful cottage with plenty of space for 4 people. Even more beautiful in person than the photos. Comfortable living area with log burner. Very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Guidebooks, boardgames and local recommendations were a great additional touch. The gardens were beautiful and there is easy access the the river which was perfect for a short evening walk. We had a lovely meal at the The Brewery Inn, a 25min walk away and would highly recommend. There are a number of close towns and villages to visit and beautiful beaches and costal walks. We did a walk from Manorbier beach and a visit to Manorbier castle. And a day trip to Tenby. What a perfectly wonderful place!

Cosy 2-bedroom cottage with a stunning river view

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a great place! Probably the best we’ve had in the area. Abbey view is really well equipped, beautifully decorated and has a stunning view up the Teifi towards Aber Teifi. Rose was really helpful and provided everything we needed. It’s a great base for exploring around the local area, with Poppit Sands, The Teifi valley, Aberporth and loads of other places a short distance away. There’s a great community run pub in the village and a regular local producers market to pick up great food. Glebelands organic market garden sits in between St. Dogmaels and Aber Teifi for fantastic fresh fruit & veg. We felt at home straight away!

1 Byre Cottage

JackRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Had a lovely stay here with my wife and pooch. It is a perfect peaceful escape, giving breathtaking views when you wake up and everything very easy to travel to in the local area. A great little welcome pack as well, suggesting all the nearest beaches to travel to which was very useful as it even had a couple of suggestions we hadn’t come across which were gems! It has a very homely feel when you walk in and has everything you would want for a nice mini break. I would 100% recommend this stay if you’re looking to get away to the Welsh coast and will hopefully be returning in the future. Thank you for such a pleasant stay!

Coastal countryside Cottage Near Mwnt Cardigan

We found this cottage beautifully clean and loved the cosy welcoming feel. We felt really at home, and the beds were comfortable. We loved being near the horses, and even heard an owl and saw bats. It's really near the Welsh wildlife centre for forest walks, great cafe there. We loved the cafe near Penbryn great for cakes! Recommend the speed boat trip, we saw bottlenose dolphins. We loved the Ferry inn pub for delicious food. There's a waterfall to swim which was special at Ffynone wood.
