Fishermans Cabin Amorgos

A small private house at the end of the main port of Amorgos island named Katapola. The beach is right in front of the house. As far we can go in time, it was the cabin of my Grand grand grand father who was a fisherman, as was my grand father and my father too. They spend all the time there from April to November and the sea was at the doorstep were they had their boat and their nets. The house was totally renovated at 2012.

Το σπίτι μας βρίσκεται στην ομορφότερη περιοχή των Καταπόλων, το Ξυλοκερατίδι, έχει νότιο προσανατολισμό και απέχει 30 μέτρα από τη θάλασσα. Παρότι σε κεντρικό σημείο, το χαρακτηρίζει η ησυχία. Είναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και διαθέτει δύο άνετους χώρους, υπνοδωμάτιο με διπλό κρεβάτι και κουζίνα-καθιστικό με καναπέ που γίνεται διπλό κρεβάτι. Εξωτερικά υπάρχει μεγάλη βεράντα με υπαίθρια τραπεζαρία, πέργκολα και θέα στη θάλασσα.

The house , designed by the Amorgos Architects team, consists of two floors and can accommodate up to six persons. As usual with the team, great care has been taken that all materials and appliances are eco-friendly.

The house has a kitchen , living room with sofa and TV, 2 bedrooms ( one with double bed and one more with either 1 double or 2 single beds) , 1 divan ( if needed), toilet-bathroom, wi-fi ( definitely July-August-September onwards,ask for June) , and of course closets for your clothes (in both bedrooms).
