Beautiful cottage! Lovely surroundings, view from the hot tub was amazing! Very homely with everything you need. Could look out that window all day long! Nice and secure for our dog too! visited Ruthin and Llangollen during our stay both within 25 mins drive had some great pizza from Carlito’s Woodfired pizzas in Ruthin and a yummy meal and the Cornmill in Llangollen. Great place to come back to after exploring the surrounding countryside! Thank you! 🥰xxx

I had a lovely stay at the Farmhouse. The accommodation is beautiful and very comfortable and easy to find using Jennie's instructions. The surrounding area is very peaceful. Highly recommended and will be visiting again.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay here. It's a perfect location for beautiful walks around North Wales. The place itself was clean, spacious and private. Lucinda was also a great host. I would fully recommend visiting!

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. We had all of the facilities that we needed and the location was perfect for exploring up and down the coast. Information leaflets were very useful and the shower was great! The welcome pack was very good and we could have a cup of tea and biscuits on arrival. The use of upcycled furniture also made the cottage unique and very welcoming. The village had a very good charity shop / café and also had a good Chinese takeaway and some decent pubs. The cottage is also close to Talacre beach, Prestatyn and Flint / Holywell so there is always somewhere to visit. Thank you Chris for a lovely holiday rental! Dave, Chris, Elsie and Ruby

Fabulous 2 night, weekend stay for 5 adults. Location was perfect for Chester city centre and racecourse. We parked 2 cars in the drive and 1 in front of the drive. Downstairs space was very large, plenty of sofas/chairs in the lounge and a large kitchen diner. Kitchen had a great supply of equipment, utensils and equipment. 3 upstairs bedrooms and 1 bathroom and the bonus of a downstairs shower room and toilet. Small decking outside and seating for 4, we brought a 5th seat and sat in the afternoon sun. Excellent Chinese takeaway Wing Wah 6 minutes walk, lovely meal at the Ship Inn 10 minutes walk. Very close to Chester city centre. We would highly recommend and would stay again.

We had a really lovely weekend at Lucys place. We have three children (6-8) who loved seeing the ponies in the morning and being able to roam. The area is very, very quiet and peacful and we would not hesitate to return.

Lovely two night stay with three generations of our family in a beautiful location . It’s a little isolated (that’s what we wanted and was as described ) but within an easy drive of all amenities. Excellent directions so easy to find. Helen has thought of everything with some lovely touches and supplies included. Looking forward to returning soon

Gillon and Merete were amazing hosts. The place is beautiful and in such a stunning setting. My favourite moment was going out for an early evening swim - so tranquil. The pool was lovely and warm. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful weekend here. Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous, tranquil setting with superb hosts, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They had thought of everything from a welcome bottle of wine and sweet treats to robes, sliders and even treats for the dog! Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, lovely pool and hot tub. We will definitely return. If you’re looking for rest and relaxation in quiet and peaceful surroundings this is the place for you.

The snug little pods are a perfect place to stay, overlooking open dales with sheep and cows, ducks swimming on pond right outside. Michiala could not have been more welcoming and helpful. we had all the peace and quiet we needed but she was always ready to assist as soon as we needed anything. Her cats and dogs were as friendly as Michaela herself. our neighbours in the other pod were super friendly too ..but with two bathrooms and a perfectly equipped little kitchen between us it never felt crowded. we loved being able to bring our own bedding because we don't like thick duvets, this meant we slept really well and felt absolutely at home.

Our third stay at the Shippon and our two autistic boys treat it like a home from home. So relaxing I didn’t want to leave. Our youngest loves water and animals so swimming, hot tub, fussing the lovely dogs, feeding Monty the horse carrots, all while being followed around by the chickens. He was in heaven! A great base for visiting family and lots to do nearby if we want to. This time we went to hoo farm, but we were generally all happy to stay at the Shippon. The Shippon is spotless and to cosy and comfortable. Our dogs love sitting on the patio watching the world go by and Newport dog park is literally a 5-10 minute walk and they love it. Thanks so much Sara and Phil, you are always so helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

We LOVED our stay here! The home is fabulous, so many spacious rooms to explore, each one decorated in a great way. The outdoor space is amazing, and was such a highlight of our stay, from the stunning countryside views, the lush pool, the immaculate sauna out building (a hot tub on the balcony or outside would be a cherry on top of a delicious cake). We also loved that the house was so well stocked in the kitchen and cupboards throughout the house, which made it easier and more enjoyable to just chill at the house. Everyone said that they're beds were super comfy too. The neighbours were very welcoming and helpful too, it was a lovely start to our stay meeting Les! It was easy to communicate with the host, and they messaged us 24 hours before check out to let us know we could check out later which was fab. Would definitely recommend staying here with a big group, plenty of space for everyone with a fab social dining table. Diolch yn fawr

I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

Fantastic cottage which comfortably accomodates 8 people. Wonderful gardens with amazing views. Very convenient for all The snowdonia range made a great hill walking base.

Three nights in what felt like a home, away from home. This idyllic cottage is on the edge of Chester, close enough to be nearby everything but far enough that you're not in the hustle and bustle. The cottage is exactly as described, has everything (and more) than you can ever need, is clean, tidy and has very comfy beds. The hosts were warm and welcoming, left great instructions to aid our finding the property and were contactable and responsive if needed. We would absolutely return.

Was a beautiful location and so peaceful was lovely to wake up to the view of the sheep. Was so nice to relax away from the hustle and bustle of life. Little girl loved the sheep she was there with them as much as she could. Already looking when to come back.

A great find for us, offered exactly what we needed - a nice peaceful place to retreat with close amenities near by. The location was perfect for getting to our planned activities (canoeing and cycling). Wyn was a great host, and the little touches in our cottage were appreciated, super clean and cosy.

We had a fabulous stay! The reception decor, and in our apartment was stunning, it was spotlessly clean, the staff at reception were incredibly helpful and were very willing to help. We were checked in by Alfie - so special shout out to him! The apartment had everything we needed and more, with all the appliances we could have wished for. A large fridge was also provided, not one of those tiny fridges you can’t fit anything in. Shower was lovely, shampoo and conditioner provided. The location was very central, loud with the windows open, but what do you expect being so central? Walking distance to anything you needed, literally opposite a tescos too. We didn’t want for anything. All in all fabulous stay, would highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay! very private and peaceful. Host really lovely and helpful with everything to do with the place and the surrounding area. Even offered without hesitation to pick something up for us if we needed. We had a lovely stay watching all the farm animals and taking in the amazing views! - Weather was wet and windy which was perfect for our cosy getaway One thing to mention for others looking to book is that the track to the place isn't the best for low bearing vehicles as outlined by the host - it was easily manageable for us in this case, but please be careful if inexperienced with farm tracks. As mentioned though, this is heavily outlined by the host before the stay.

Really friendly hosts, made me feel right at home. Beautiful place, and in a great location. Kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked, and bed was very comfortable.

This was the perfect little hideaway. When you first see your view when you pull up the track, your jaw hits the floor, you can't help but stop the car, step out and gawk. A good selection of cooking supplies provided, a private little walk into a wooded area and all the sheep you can listen to! Only thing I feel slightly strained the experience, which is and was rather minor once accustomed to it, was the VERY short showers! Otherwise, this was a perfect experience. Thank you for hosting us!
