Quiet stay near Zaanse Schans& Amsterdam

My cozily furnished house with furniture from India is in a quiet street with no cars. The front is by the water, where you can spot ducks, birds and herons. At the back you have a view of the greenery and you are very quiet. It is also suitable as a retreat & artist house as you sit quietly and yet very close to the shops & people if you want to look that up. It's like a "nature cottage", but in a urban area. The energy of the house is calming.

We had a very nice night on the boat, the surroundings are fantastic, quiet and full of nature. We were particularly impressed by the many birds. The boat is exactly as described, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen. We were very warmly welcomed and felt completely comfortable. We will be happy to come back!

The place is great, but teddy is an absolute gem. I was sick the night I came in with a bad fever. I was actually trying to cancel my reservation. But I couldn’t. I spoke with Teddy, he said he would take care of me and he did. He served me a big plate of fruits, gave me medicine, and was just so sweet. Honestly can’t say enough good stuff about the guy.

I stayed at Tanja's place for 6 weeks and I can only recommend it! It's the coziest place I've found so far in the surroundings of Amsterdam, immediately felt at home. The view out of the living room is amazing, on the terrace you are sitting right next to a channel and can immerse into nature. Yet, with the bus you are in the center of Amsterdam within only 20 minutes... Tanja is a great host, always helpful and responsive! She even offered to use their kayaks to explore the waterways. I actually just booked another stay at the place!

A scenic canal lined with charming buildings and streetlights is featured. Colorful flower baskets hang from lamp posts, and several bicycles are parked along the edge. The peaceful ambiance is enhanced by soft evening lighting reflecting off the water.

Mark's accommodation was wonderful, the area very quiet, close to a supermarket and bus station, always very willing to respond and help.

A ewe and her lamb are resting on a bed of straw within a wooden structure. The ewe's woolly coat is light gray, and the lamb, smaller and with a soft white fleece, lies comfortably beside her. Soft lighting enhances the peaceful ambiance.

I just left and I'm already missing the Windmill Village Very convenient location, easy to go to Windmill Village and Amsterdam.It's quiet and beautiful here. The house is very spacious for 5 people, the stairs are a little steep, but it's not a problem for us.

Thanks to Stefanie! The accommodation is really even better than the photos! It is a very nice, spacious, comfortable and clean house! Stefanie was very responsive to my messages and her instructions for self check-in were very clear! I highly recommend this place and we'll even go back! Free parking, the Sprinter (RER/TER) is at the end of the street and takes you to Amsterdam center in 15 min! Everything was perfect! Thank you again Stefanie 🌷
