A huge bedroom on the first floor with charming views over the orchard; go up its own small winding staircase to a sitting room with dining area, a small kitchen (with fridge, cooker, microwave and toaster) and private bathroom (with shower over the bath). Occasional extra guests can stay in the two sofa beds, for a charge of £20 per bed per night

Moments from the beautiful Port Meadow for walks and within a stone's throw of 2 of Oxford's most famous pubs, The Trout and Jacob's Inn both offering great food and a warm welcome. The house is comfortable and cozy, with a lovely small private garden and parking available. It is very much our home, so please respect this.

a lovely stay, Sue and Julian are lovely hosts, their home is a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. I slept so well and felt totally at home, I would highly recommend and would certainly return, their beautiful dog Muffy was also adorable!

I was highly impressed by having been given the opportunity to check in flexibly due to heavy rain at my arrival amongst others. Roger's partner Linda gave me a warm welcome, showed me around, and introduced me to Matthew, another very friendly tenant. Later, I got to know Roger's son Connor as well. Both Connor and Matthew were constantly available when it came to any questions. The accommodation is well-groomed and fully came up to my expectations. The individual bathroom is right next to the guest room, which is absolutely perfect. It's a good half an hour by the S7 or S4 bus to the Oxford City Centre. If one also wants to visit Oxfordshire beyond Kidlington with public transport, one should buy a My Bus Oxfordshire Adult Weekly Ticket which is worth it and cost just GBP 5 more than a Smart Zone Weekly Ticket. I highly appreciated the private atmosphere in Roger's accommodation. Five stars are nothing else but fair. Thank you. It would be a pleasure to get back in the future.

Great host, everything was well explained. Super clean bedroom and bathroom and comfortable bed. Property is on the corner of a busy roundabout but the room was quiet and peaceful. I had a great night's sleep. Room was well equipped with tea, coffee, fridge with milk and orange juice and utensils. I would definitely stay here again.

I was on a bicycle journey. I could park the bike safely behind the house. Rick was very friendly. He answered instantly on my messages and he took time for explaining everything. Everything what you may need is in the house. And you can use the kitchen. Thank you Rick for a nice stay 👍
