Goldenbaum offers the starting point for wonderful cycling and hiking tours through the UNESCO World Natural Heritage old beech forests of Europe, unique moor and marsh landscapes as well as crystal-clear swimming lakes where you can find your own beach.

Unser EFH liegt am südwestlichen Rand der Kernstadt in Seenähe mit Bademöglichkeiten. Zur Autobahn 24 sind es etwa 5km. Der Bus (Stadtlinie) hält wochentags über alle 20min in ca. 200m Entfernung. Im Wohngebiet gibt es kein lautes Gewerbe. Das Radwegenetz ist gut ausgebaut und eine Speisegaststätte liegt fußläufig in ca. 250m.
