Elsau liegt an der Stadtgrenze zu Winterthur. Ländlich und doch in Stadtnähe. Besuche Winterthur mit seinen Cafés, Museen, dem Technorama oder den Musikfestivals! Zürich ist mit dem Zug und Auto in 30min zu erreichen. Ebenso aber der Rheinfall oder die Grenze zu Deutschland und Österreich. Die Unterkunft verfügt über einen eigenen Eingang sowie einen Parkplatz, ist nahe der Bus- oder Zughaltestelle. Im Sommer kann der hauseigene Pool nach Absprache mitbenutzt werden. Cozy house in the countryside

The small cozy part of the house is available to guests alone and is not used by us personally. The guesthouse is located about 1 km from the train station in Rikon. The accommodation is located in the nature in the beautiful Tösstal which invites you to relax and hike. The Tösstal has various hiking routes. In Rikon there is a public swimming pool, various restaurants and a village shop. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, dishes, glasses and cutlery.

Construction trailer in an idyllic location

Our lovingly converted construction trailer is in an idyllic location on our farm near the horses and chickens. It's greening and blooming all around this small, cozy space. You will find peace and nature, but you are in various villages in a few minutes and in Winterthur in 15 minutes. There are 2 shared toilets, but without a shower. The construction trailer is equipped with a cozy 1.40 x 2 m bed and seating, as well as heating and drinks.

A bedroom features a black metal bed adorned with simple bedding and decorative pillows. A cozy blanket is draped over the side. Natural wood flooring complements the minimalistic décor, which includes a small bedside table and wall decorations, such as a dreamcatcher and a decorative fan.

Since I often spend an extended weekend in Ticino, I rent out my private apartment on Air BNB. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need. Right in nature, but still central. If you go across the street, you are right in a small forest with beautiful walks. Shopping is a 5-minute walk away and the train station is a 10-minute walk away. There is a direct train, without changing trains, to Zurich HB.
