This place was beautiful!! Very secluded and clean! We had a few problems while we here (roof leaked during storm + trouble checking in) but they were very responsive and friendly on the phone and mitigated our problems very fast! I would definitely recommend staying here!

The lake house was beautiful. The pictures don’t fully do it justice. The home had plenty of space for a big family. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed. Casey was quick to help us with recommendations.

the house was just like the pictures. plenty of space for two families with 3 kids each. the big table in the upstairs balcony is where we spent every evening!

Quaint lake cottage full of charm! Our family enjoyed the beautiful views of Smith Lake from the two balconies. The dock was large and open with two kayaks and a paddle board for a great time on the lake.

Our family really enjoyed Lynn’s place. The house was very clean and there was more than enough room for the 6 of us. We caught fish right off the dock and also swam and kayaked. The dock was fun and relaxing, the deck was peaceful and comfy. We had people of all ages 16 to 66 and everyone had a blast. Thank you Lynn.

This location was an excellent peaceful getaway. It felt very secluded and private with several locations to sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. I have already recommended this location to several coworkers.

Beautiful view, easy lake access and the pool was lovely. Would definitely stay again. Great price as well. Be prepared for it to be buggy in the summer, such is a lake house. Cozy beds and couches. Only complaint is that maybe a dresser in the room with the twin beds would be nice. No where to put clothes away! Highly recommend Daniels place at Mallard Pointe. Enjoyed the steak restaurant and the Marina restaurant. Was a nice girls weekend and I'd love to go back with my family and rent a pontoon!!

This was our family’s first ever Lake Vacation and it did not disappoint. The view was spectacular. You are close to Smith Lake Marina if you want to rent a boat or jet ski. There are quaint restaurants close by and always a Dollar General. The home was just as Dave described. We loved having the golf cart to go to the dock. Dave was very helpful and always responsive. We hope to be back in Sept. for fall break. Thank you Dave for opening up your home away from home for my family and I to make new memories.

We absolutely loved this place! The kids especially enjoyed the pool — it was a major highlight and made the trip even more fun. The home is secluded, which gave us peace and privacy, and the thoughtful touches throughout made it feel extra special. The bathroom was stunning, and the sauna was such a great bonus. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and just beautiful. Although we had to travel an hour to Huntsville for our activities, we didn’t mind the drive at all because we knew we were coming back to such a wonderful home. The host was incredibly accommodating and even allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place — we’d definitely stay again!

Camp Liberty was literally a "God-Send". Our original lodging arrangement with this platform/company got "whacked" after we had already set out for a 10hr road trip. As we traversed onward to our destination I spent a good deal of time trying to find something that made sense for 2-Adults and 2-dogs <50lbs. Of which, one is a card carrying certified service dog. By God's Grace I came across Camp Liberty. However, I knew we were going to be hours later than normal "check-In" which turned into an additional 5hr as we incurred a "blow-out" but fortunate enough to have gotten off the interstate prior. Colonel Land had already been so generous and kind by accepting our initial reservation but even after explaining the hardship/road crap with finding some help with a tire, etc. after 6pm on a weekday. Colonel Land was MOST accommodating and helpful! He treated us exactly how I would have treated another man. Especially, a man in need of a little help. The place fit our needs to a T!

Our stay at the Tiny House was peaceful and pleasant. It was VERY clean and well taken care of. Whoever did the decorating and cabinetry did an amazing job. The space was small but the furniture placement worked well to make it plenty roomy for two people to be comfortable. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Don’t think about it any longer, absolutely stay here. We are non-military and LOVED our time at the cabin. Host and all on the grounds are incredibly welcoming. Everything you need or might want is provided. Dog-friendly. Excellent stay. I will be back.

We were so happy to find this place in haleyville! We have a big family so having a place for everyone is hard to find., especially with a pool! The house is dated for sure but it has everything you need. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We’re hoping to stay here again! The host was great and answered timely to any questions we had.

Jim was so flexible. At first I thought i was going to get there early on friday so I wrote him if I could check in early. He said I could be there at noon. We did not end up leaving texas until friday evening so we arrived around 10 am on saturday. The place looked so amazing I still wanted to stay an extra day anyway, I asked if I could add an extra day to my stay since we missed the friday (of course we meant to pay) and he said we definitely could and since we missed friday we could stay the extra day for free! I intended to pay but he said it was fine! Then he walked my kids and I through the main property. The deck, the boathouse, the lake! Wow!!!! It was so beautiful and peaceful! It was like a scene from a movie. Jim offered up sodas and waters and told us if we needed any we can get some at anytime. Walked us inside the main house and said we could get coffee and overall a great and kind host. While out he was messaging me on the AirBNB app to suggest places to visit! 🙌🏼

Carey saved the day! We arrived at another rental and it did not live up to the photos or expectations. I reached out and immediately she responded and we were able to Che k in just minutes later. The home is the perfect mix of luxury and comfort. Very clean and in such a nice quiet area. Can’t recommend this home enough! We will be back!

Absolutely wonderful stay! This quaint cottage was an absolute gem—adorable, cozy, and so thoughtfully prepared. It was spotless and stacked with toiletries galore, which was such a nice surprise. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the WiFi was fast and easy to access. The location was perfect—peaceful, quiet, and still close to everything we needed. It truly was a pleasure, and I would absolutely stay here again!

I can't say enough about how amazing this place is! if you're looking for peace and privacy this is your place! The tent and bathroom were immaculate and very comfortable! I am definitely saving this one as a favorite and we will be back! Who would ever choose a hotel over this? Not me for sure!

Beautiful campground and very accommodating hosts. We simply needed a place to stay with our dogs last minute and we’re grateful to find a spot that was a reasonable distance from our niece’s wedding venue! Love the deck!

Michael Steve's home on the lake is lovely and the perfect place to enjoy Smith Lake. The floating dock is a fantastic place to launch kayaks and hang out. The cabin is very comfortable, especially the screened in porch where we spent most of our time. Michael Steve was a gracious host and we will return again in the fall.

The house was beautiful. Extremely clean and comfortable. The beds were exceptionally nice. My family had an awesome stay. The cozy cottage had everything you need to feel right at home. Beautiful location and view. The double decker pier was terrific, and allowed us to utilize and stay on the lake and outside longer. The large patio is perfect for relaxing, reading, or taking a nap. We ate dinner every night outside. We hope to come back again and again for our annual lake trips.

My family and I had a wonderful experience staying at Amanda’s cottage. The home itself was pristinely clean, exactly as described and even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The location was perfect as well - peacefully tucked away in a cove away from neighbors, with a beautiful view of the lake. Amanda was also extremely friendly and responsive and was quick to assist when we had a power outage due to a storm that blew through. We loved our time here and will most definitely be back!
