Beautiful, quiet, peaceful getaway spot! Donna and her crew are incredibly hospitable. We had a wonderful time during our stay! Absolutely recommend! Please take the time to look at the binder filled with pictures from when the cabins were built and post cards from early 1900s.. so cool!

The Trout Creek Cabin was such a magical place! Nestled along a serene creek off a quiet country road about 20 min from Lanesboro, we loved our morning coffee on the deck enjoying the multitude of songbirds. The cabin was perfect for our anniversary weekend to escape the noise of people and fully relax in nature, but with comfy amenities and a glorious whirlpool under the stars! Suzette, Andrew, & Mindy thought of all the personal touches from a nice coffee/tea assortment, a bottle of wine, bathrobes, spongy slippers, little label signs - and much more! We loved the design and colors of the house throughout, and a lovely deck to take in all the nature! Day trips to Lanesboro were not a long drive as the countryside is spectacular, just takes about 20 mins. We hope to be back and maybe we’ll bring our son next time.

Great place felt right at home and fully stocked kitchen and linens and blankets and towels for our group! Little slice of heaven to relax and rest and enjoy our weekend.

This place was perfectly secluded, but had anything you could need near enough to run and grab. Loved this place! Beautiful view over the Mississippi River. While it was cold and rainy when we stayed, it was so cozy, warm and relaxing. 😊

Our stay at Justin Trails Resort was beyond our expectations! We stayed in Little House on the Prairie after we got married in Sparta as a little getaway. Their property is absolutely gorgeous with an abundance of hiking trails and even disc golf. They had llamas, Rusty and Dusty, that were so fun to watch and feed them! Donna had breakfast prepared every morning with all fresh or homemade foods! It was excellent. We were lucky enough to bring our St. Bernard puppy along and she had so much fun hiking and playing with Donna’s dog, Heidi, in their dog play area. They were so accommodating to everything we needed. We couldn’t say enough great things about our stay here. It’s outstanding!

WOW! Whispering Oaks is 100% hands down ABB at its finest! I can't actually believe this place is available as it is incredibly special. Lisa is the most proactive and genuine host I have ever stayed with. Don't hesitate if its available because Whispering Oaks is usually booked solid. Fantastic accommodation for you and your entire group!

Excellent responsive host! Beautiful, private cabin with a phenomenal view of the Mississippi River valley. Inside there is a Lovely, enchanting & comfortable cabin atmosphere. Great fireplace! Good hot tub. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Except they need to upgrade the skillets & pots, which are very old. We left a note communicating this point. If you like pure privacy....this is the place! Transporting heavy luggage to and from the cabin can be a challenge. A long descending sidewalk can be difficult, especially for older guests. Young & strong....no problem. Overall we really enjoyed our visit. This cabin is a Gem!! We will consider a return trip.

Adorable, little cozy cabin. Was perfect for a couples getaway for the weekend. We loved the hot tub and area to have a fire. Awesome porch for having meals outside as well.

Awesome spot to stay if you're in the area fishing like I was. 15 minutes to some of the best trout fishing in the country and this spot makes an awesome base camp. Gunnar and Keri are super hosts and made everything easy for us. Their spot is quaint easy and quiet with plenty of room.

Beautiful, secluded cabin, clean, cozy, with everything you need for your stay

Absolutely incredible place for a peaceful getaway not far from Rochester. The shared bathhouse was very clean and well-stocked and the lighting meant that even at night it was not bad to walk to. Chelsi was very responsive and helpful, we decided to add a night at the last minute because once we arrived we knew we wouldn't be able to leave too quickly and Chelsi was flexible and communicative. We will be back!

Absolutely beautiful space. It was the perfect getaway for our mini moon 🩷 Unfortunately, it rained the entire time so we didn't get to explore the trails at all. The space was wonderfully stocked with everything you would need. We will definitely come back!

We all loved the stay and wish we had been able to stay for more than just one night! It was so cute, clean and Colleen was so responsive. It was perfect for what we needed for our stay and we hope to stay again!

Nice little get away, easy to get onto the local ATV trails. Had a volleyball net and other outside games available, free firewood and ice available for purchase right on the property. Hoping to come back in October!

Large, spacious property that can accommodate big groups with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and a functional kitchen. Highly oriented to the hunting community and had the appropriate decor to match. Quick trips into Mondovi and a manageable distance from Eau Claire. Overall, the property well fit our needs to have a convenient location for our group of 10 attending a country wedding.

We loved staying here! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for to unwind. We'd definitely stay here again!

Very nice cabin and very clean. Had everything we needed. Didn’t get to use the fire pit because it was so dry and windy. Don’t know that I would describe the location as secluded. The cabin was pretty close to the road and there are neighbors nearby. All in all it was a great stay and we’ll probably go back again. It would be a great place to stay if you were out and about on an ATV.
