There is the choice of the patrolled Caves Beach, the sheltered Spoon Rocks, only minutes walk away, or the wilder Pinny's Beach on a coastal trail. Sydney is about an hour and a half away. This house is quite unique on the water side, the site is really convenient, 2-3 minutes walk to the station and shopping. You can sit on the deck and walk to the small jetty on the creek. You and your family or friends can sit on the deck and watch the water running down to Lake Macquarie, enjoying the tranquility, or eating your meal, or playing games. A good place for your holidays and relaxation. The Host- Wassim provided good services by communicating before and post entering the house. Also introducing to us the new and modern style of kitchen sink, we easily love the place to cook our own food. He even drove us to the nearby train station when we are in need. We will recommend it to our friends in the future.

We enjoy our stay at Rodney’s studio. The studio was clean and in a quiet location, the waterfront at the back was breathtaking. The accommodation is not far from some great fishing spots, we managed to go fishing during our stay even though it was a cold and windy weekend. Our fur babies also felt very welcomed and had a great time there.

We loved our stay at hoot hollow! Had everything we needed for our trip away and felt like a home away from home. Very comfortable, private and peaceful. We enjoyed the area too. Went for a walk along the water to the park where the kids enjoyed the playground. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for a relaxing getaway.
