House vacation rentals in Wilmington

This is a definite must stay if you’re coming to Philly with a large family! The place is simply amazing home and is modern, spacious and pristine in nature! It’s is wonderfully decorated and could easily be a show home! It is exactly as advertised and much more! The jacuzzi and outdoor patio and bbq are a really nice touch, and well as the exercise room and equipment on the second floor! Katerina is a gracious and wonderful host! She responded to any inquiries in a timely and helpful manner! We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return! Katerina many thanks for hosting us - you have an amazing place and we hope to return on a few months! Take care and thanks tons for everything!!

Our family had the most incredible vacation. The house itself had everything we needed…a night chilling on the couch watching a movie, to sitting on the wraparound deck with some wine, enjoying the beautiful scenery , of course, some s’mores by the fire pit, and lots and lots of quality time with the family in the incredible pool!!!! I have to say my favorite spot was the pool !!! The backyard oasis is private, we played some music, had our corn hole games, there’s also a picnic table, outback, where we played Uno & trouble with our grandson. The kitchen has everything we needed to make breakfast lunch and dinner.!!!! The scenery was beautiful , we even did a few hours of fishing down by the creek. Our host Megan was very responsive , we couldn’t ask for a better host. Thank you for making this a fun filled week celebrating the memory of our son . Looking forward to coming back soon. Oh wait, cannot forget the waterfall in the backyard such a peaceful part of a whole oasis.

Dana’s home was absolutely beautiful. Not only were they super accommodating, the home itself is beautiful and the history it holds is something to treasure! A very memorable stay- highly recommended for anyone in the area! My son was in awe of their farm animals!

Our Honey Brook stay was brief but worth it. The house, yard, and surrounding town was beautiful. Chris and Claudia early on were very helpful with recommendations. When it was getting to be close to the time of our vaca their instructions were clear and well timed. I look forward to staying here again, hopefully for longer next time.

Genine and Mike were great hosts. It was lovely to have picnics near the lake and the guest house was cozy.

My family and I spent Memorial Day weekend in this beautiful home. It was very spacious and very clean. It had every amenity you could possibly want. It had a beautiful family room area and plenty of seating for everyone. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. The pool was absolutely beautiful, but too cold for us to use at this time. The yard was completely fenced and very private. We really enjoyed our stay at this home. We hope to stay again soon!

Caryle’s place was in a very peaceful neighborhood, very private and relaxing. The kitchen had what we needed and the living room was a great place to sit and read. We felt like we were staying at a friend’s house.

The location was wonderful. I have been working in Wilmington for years but had never been in Arden. What a gorgeous spot that is, and so very convenient to all of Wilmington and so easy to hop on and off the highway. Susan was extremely kind and thoughtful and we appreciated her advice and help. We had our little Havanese with us and it was so convenient to have a fenced in back yard so that she could easily go in and out. It was a lovely stay.

A wonderful Airbnb! Beautifully decorated & maintained with a classy antique meets modern aesthetic. Clean, comfy, great temperature regulation, amazing beds! Room for all of us too be in the house and have space as needed. Lovely hosts. Neighborhood felt super safe, plenty to do and yummy places to eat nearby and within a 30 min drive. We could not have asked for anything better for our stay. Would have stayed longer if we could have extended our trip! Thank you!

My wife and I had the best experience at this guest house. Lisa is an amazing host. Lisa blessed us with fresh eggs in the fridge from the farm. Lisa also had fresh milk, yogurts, apple cider, granola, and homemade cakes for us. The guest house and the whole property will take you back in time. The guest house was squeaky clean from top to bottom and had the perfect amenities for out stay. If you are on the fence between renting this property or another property in the area, rent this property for your vacation. You will not be disappointed!!

Kat’s house is very spacious with comfortable furniture and an awesome master bedroom bathroom shower and Jacuzzi tub. There is a quiet park with a picturesque stream less than a minute walk down the street. Everything needed for an enjoyable is provided.

Host was very accommodating and home was even more impressive in person. One of the best properties I’ve experienced. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the warm fireplace, comfy beds, great water pressure in showers, nice linens, and gourmet kitchen. Will definitely consider this home again next time our travels bring us to this area.

Such an adorable street! It was quiet stay and well stocked for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was our favorite! Beautifully laid out and had all we need to prepare meals while there. The beds were comfortable and the two bedrooms offered privacy for both couples. The showers were spacious, with great water pressure and temperature. If you walk half a mile, you will discover a gorgeous creek and walking trail. It was great to walk it after breakfast. It’s a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to restaurants, book stores, etc. The neighbors are friendly too! I would definitely recommend staying here!

The character and charm of this house is next level - we felt right at home the moment we walked in. Very cute area on a quiet street. For breakfast the next morning, we grabbed coffee and bagels from the local spots the host mentioned and ate them on the screened in porch. The gentle breeze and sounds of nature were a perfect, peaceful way to start the day. Just a heads up that the stairs could be a bit tricky for younger kids. My 8 and 5 year old had no issues but my 3 year old was a bit reluctant to venture to the third floor bedroom, though once she saw her older siblings do it (as it is with most siblings), she decided she was brave too and went right up as long as someone was holding her hand on the way down. There's a few steps that are not full steps (as they are rounded) that might seem intimidating to travel up and down but railings are right there for support so you'll probably be fine.

Had a great experience at Ray’s! From the minute we walked in, the house smelled SO CLEAN. The living couch was so comfortable. Every room had a TV. I really appreciated how the kitchen had all the supplies we needed. The bedrooms looked recently vacuumed and I loved having the extra space in the basement. We definitely would recommend this place to our friends. Thank you for hosting, Ray!

Matt's place was perfect for our short stay in the area. We appreciated how walkable it was to the downtown area to pick up breakfast in the mornings. Highly recommend Talula's Table! The tiny home is very comfortable and in a quiet area. We would choose it again if we're in the area.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at 107 Hawthorne Court West in Hockessin. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—if not better. Tucked away in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, it offered the perfect retreat while still being conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and beautiful walking trails. The space was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, cozy beds, and fast Wi-Fi. We appreciated the small touches like extra blankets, clear instructions, and a smooth check-in/check-out process. The backyard was an added bonus—perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. The host was responsive, helpful, and made sure we felt at home. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the Hockessin or Wilmington area, and we’d gladly stay again.
