Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! Didn't want to leave!!! 😊 Thank you Joanne for your exemplary hospitality!

This house is absolutely lovely. It was the perfect place for our family to spend a few days together before taking our eldest to college. The art in this home is wonderful and there is something to be discovered on every wall, nook and cranny. The spacious kitchen was perfect for many people to be cooking at the same time and the sun room was the perfect place to sit and chat and watch the cows! Chauntel and Pierre were lovely hosts, and very responsive. The area is remote but that is why you go to the Adirondack’s right? We had a gorgeous full moon one of the nights and the skies were beautiful. We did not eat out nearby but enjoyed a day trip to Lake Placid and the many mountain towns nearby. Finally, the grocery store closest to the house has a one star yelp rating and I have to say that people at the Village Meat Market were very kind and we observed some fellow travelers have a box of groceries fall out of their car, the entire staff came out to help. Fantastic Stay!!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Camp Moonshadow, where we met our daughter, who came over from Burlington to spend the weekend with us. It was a very easy ferry drive and short drive for her. It was exactly what we needed - quiet, comfortable and beautiful. We did the short hikes nearby and we cooked in all meals. Kitchen was an absolute joy to cook in - large and open and providing most of what we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit on one of the nights - roasting marshmallows and catching up. Coffee on the patio in the mornings was lovely. Bedrooms were comfortable, and bathrooms squeaky clean and expansive. Host Steven got back to me regarding a few hours early on checkin - much appreciated. This is a quiet neighborhood, and perfect for a restful respite.

We loved our stay at Laure’s place in Willsboro. Our family gathered so our kids could go to a wedding that was local and we watched our grand babies. The house was so comfortable for all of us. The kitchen was a great place to gather and cook dinners and breakfasts. Our family lives in different areas so it means so much to stay at a home that not only can accommodate us, but can also offer a comfortable kitchen and living area where we can just hang out. We had a rainy weekend, but were able to play in the beautiful yard with our grand daughter one evening when the sun came out. The gardens are absolutely beautiful. It was also fun to walk down to the river - the scenery was amazing. I spent an evening holding my grandson on the day bed in the front hall watching the rain hit the leaves. I will remember that for a while. Laure’s house is comfortable and beautifully decorated. I was reading the history of the house which made the stay even more special.
