Historic downtown bungalow.

This cute and cozy 1428SF cottage dates to 1920. Located in quiet and beautiful downtown Kingstree, the house boasts a screened porch in the back, and a recent renovation. Fully furnished with amenities. Grocery shopping is less than a mile away, and Main Street is an easy walk. We try to be accommodating and if you need an early check-in please ask. Check out is 10AM. There is a $75 late check out fee after that. If you'll need to check out later, just message us and we'll waive it.

The first guest comment I hear is "Wow - pictures don't do this place justice - the house is incredible and the views are spectacular! The next comment is "I thought we were way out in the country but it's only 20 minutes to the waterfront town of Georgetown, with shops, dining, museums and more. Looking to get away? This place is truly a retreat- a 3 bedroom house on the beautiful Black River in Georgetown. Four kayaks provided, swim or fish off the dock just a few steps from the house.

Maggie Jo’s paradise on the river !

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Maggie jo is a 1970 completely restore houseboat. She has got a full size refrigerator , gas range ,microwave and toaster oven. Out on the back deck she has a gas grill. The aft berth has 2 full beds that are extremely comfortable. Galley dinette make into bed and the couch in the saloon pulls out also. While on the decks you will see eagles, dolphins , gator or fishing jumping out of the water. I also have 2 tandem kayaks for your use.

Lo & Billy got married in the 1950s and lived here. Renovated after meeting Lo and hearing her stories.
