Creekside Retreat

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We mostly used it as a place to wind down for the night after being out all day. With a hot tub by the creek, barbecue grill, and plenty of places to relax in the large living area, it worked great for our purposes. It's nice and quiet after around 9pm. I rested very well out here. Nice place to stay.

Loved our stay at the Cascade Cabin! It was a perfect set up for us and our friends all with young kids. We took full advantage of the fire pit and hot tub, and explored the little creek nearby as well! The cabin was stocked with coffee and creamer, and had all the things we needed for the kids! We’d definitely recommend Cascade Cabin for anyone looking for a quiet and calm getaway in the forest!

Cozy Cabin in The Woods

BriannaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Christine's place was a perfect spot for a secluded getaway!. It was so quiet, surrounded by trees, and felt very cozy. they have a hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, picnic bench and two rocking chairs outside. Inside, the couches were cozy, they had a portable speaker, TV ( although we didn't use it) and don't games. The gas in the grill has run out but Christine was so amazing, she responded right away and replaced the tank while we were hiking and we were able to use it as planned!! we were very grateful! They did provide the basics, including some pots and pans and a coffee pod machine. But I brought my own butcher knife, cutting board, and moka pot for coffee and all the cooking supplies. the location is great for a secluded getaway, there is hiking and an old growth forest near by and your not to far from the ocean. I would highly recommend this cabin if you want piece and quiet, to be in the middle of the woods, and to experience nature! I cannot wait to stay again!!

Great stay at the Chalet! Had everything we needed! Awesome outdoor space & hot tub. Clear instructions & responsiveness. Beautiful interior & held all 8 of us very nicely! Loved all the hooks & shoe storage. Everything you could need! Loved our stay! Downside it was raining all weekend so no mountain views for us, but what can you do about it? Classic oregon. McKenzie Riverfront Cabin, Modern, near hotsprings

MeganRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
What an amazing find! This cabin met and exceeded every expectation we had! My fiancé can be a little picky with cleanliness and he had zero issues with this spot! Well done! The sliding doors open up all the way to allow the sounds of the McKenzie River in, which was amazing, we slept like babies! There is some road noise but it honestly didn’t bother us at all! My fiancé and I are avid hikers and the location was incredible! We kayaked at clear lake, plunged into the Tamolitch blue pool, hiked around the Koosah and Sahalie falls and dipped into the Terwilliger hot springs and boy did it not disappoint! Thank you for making our first trip to Oregon a memorable one!

NEW - Serene Retreat on the Nehalem River

AmyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Beautiful and thoughtfully designed home on the river! But be aware of poor cell service and no wifi! The wifi part in the listing but I didn’t even think to look and just assumed I would have better service. Not the end of the world, but we were staying here during a trail race weekend and it would have been great to have been able to get some texts out and have a better way to navigate around the area for crewing the races (poor to no cell service in the whole area). Besides that though, the house and property are truly wonderful!

River's Rest

LindaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
It was wonderful and well kept, I felt right at home. It has 2 bedrooms, and I would say it only accommodates 4 people as the owner describes. Stop off in Springfield and buy your food if you plan on cooking, only a mini mart is local. We ate at Scott's recommended places, and the food was good. Other than that, the home has all the amenities you need, like what a hotel would supply. I cannot say enough about these owners other than you can tell it is their pride of ownership, and it shows. If you have never been to the McKenzie River, it is spectacular and do not miss the Sahalie Falls, what a gorgeous waterfall.

River Cabin

DeanaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This cabin home right along the river was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed a lot of time outside on the deck, patio, hot tub and loved the fire pit in the evenings. The house was immaculate and there were two large master suites. The large amount of windows were fantastic for the river and mountain views. And another fun touch were the multiple families of Canadian geese that walked through the yards all day long. I would recommend this home for anyone looking for space, enjoys views and peace. Also a nice drive to the Willamette Valley for wine tasting!
