Cabin vacation rentals in Wilderness

Wonderful stay! Beautiful surroundings and a lovely view of the Shenandoah mountains from the living room and bedroom. Very clean and Carmen was very responsive and made us feel at home. Cabin is close to town for groceries and some restaurants overlooking the valley.

We decided on a small get away after our wedding and this was the PERFECT spot! Private and romantic and close enough to many restaurants and attractions! Highly recommend :)

We had a really nice time at the cabin. Everything was laid out very nicely and was ready for us the moment we arrived. The space is beautiful and right on the lake. It was extremely peaceful to sit in the large screened deck and hang out with the stunning lake in view. Hope to stay here again some day!

This house is very well located for enjoying Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, & Front Royal, VA. The northern most park entrance is a very short drive, & the town of Front Royal is also a short drive. The house was very comfortable for my family of eight adults and one grandchild plus dog. We convened there for a week for a family get together. You won’t be bored. Solomon has provided everything you could possibly want to have fun and relax, from the very nice outdoor hot tub, fire pit with chairs and the makings of s’mores, hammock, and corn hole game, to the downstairs game room with pool table, the extensive library, fireplaces and nice back porch with grill, table, chairs, & porch swing, etc.! The master bedroom is amazing, the downstairs bedroom is also very nice, both with en-suite bathrooms. The other two bedrooms are much smaller and share a bathroom although there is a half bath off the kitchen. It worked for us. We hated to see the week end! Would come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed rainy mornings drinking coffee and movie nights on the screened porch! There are lots of thoughtful touches and a well equipped kitchen. Thanks for having us!

House was as described and comfortable. It is a peaceful area and our dogs loved having lots of yard to play and run, and patrol for deer. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch rain and shine. It would have been nice to have a Keurig coffee machine but the kitchen is otherwise well equipped. Beds were all comfortable and house was clean. It was nice having a washer/dryer to use. The gas grill and hot tub were both a plus. Great place to visit when you want to bring the pups with you. Not a lot to do in the area but a visit to the Luray Caverns is worth it as well as a ride along Skyline Drive. For little ones, there is a playground behind the local elementary school as well as a nice one in Luray. Walmart, Food Lion, Dunkin, and other stores are conveniently located in Luray. Triple Crown BBQ was a hit for takeout and Chop House Bistro was excellent for dinner out. As is clearly noted in the home, ticks are plentiful so dogs should be checked regularly - we found a few on them daily.

My kids and I were looking for a national park within driving distance. Shenandoah is that place. My daughter helped find this cabin and it was perfect- off the beaten path, quiet and a beautiful night sky! The screened porch was great, the pond and private creek, and not too far from the park itself. Really a very nice get away especially if you like to hike or run trails. We would stay here again!

This was our first time using Airbnb and it was a great experience. It was a little weird as I unlocked the door and walked in the first time. Soft lights and a screensaver on the tv, felt like I was walking into someone’s house. The views from the cabin were amazing - even in the rain and fog. Returning from town one day we discovered the power was out. Brian had sent a few messages keeping us informed. The wood stove kept us cozy. The hot tub was relaxing at sunset and at 6:30 in the morning. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The road was rough and got worse with 2 nights of heavy rain, but someone was taking care of it as best they could. The rain had the waterfall running fast and furious. I have added pics of an early morning and a sunset from the deck as screensavers to my phone to remind me of this beautiful place.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! It’s updated and incredibly clean and well-maintained. The bed was super comfortable, and the peaceful, serene setting made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The sauna was a fantastic bonus, such a great way to end the day. The Tesla charger was also a big plus. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! The moment we arrived, we were blown away by how peaceful and picturesque the area was. The cabin itself is cozy, charming, and surrounded by nature, it truly feels like a private retreat. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, unwind, and just take in the quiet beauty around you. We loved how secluded it felt, and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to recharge in a beautiful, private setting. We can’t wait to come back!

THIS is a great house and property!! It’s a beautiful modern feeling cabin. And this place is super clean!!!! I can’t stress this enough. The bedrooms are so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We used the laundry area and all. Living room is very comfy with great seating. Outside on the back is a patio sofa, fun lighting and a swing. The front entry is very easy to get into. Great gravel driveway and just a few steps to the door. There is a great fire pit with a huge swing. It is private. It felt very safe. And the pool table room was so fun! We spent lots of time there. Plenty of towels, blankets, throws, etc. We highly recommend this property and would love to come back.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place for a girls weekend! The view was better than the photos, peaceful and comfortable!! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

The best way to review a stay is to say that you will return. I will definitely return to this cabin! I'll put it on my list of favorites.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful, relaxing cabin with great views and surrounding property. From the cabin, we ventured out to hike in the Shenandoah National Park and to tour Luray Caverns. We also hiked a trail on the property to get a clear view of the nearby valley.

Very much enjoyed a short but sweet stay in this cabin! Appreciated the little touches including both fireplaces being set up for use upon arrival & maps of the area being laid out on the kitchen island. This quiet, pet-friendly Airbnb was a great escape for the weekend. Thank you for having us 🙂

We had the best time and can’t wait to go back! Ashleigh and the whole family were so sweet and welcoming. The cabin was quiet and comfortable and peaceful, and getting up each day to paddle on the lake and see all the animals made such fun memories for our kids. Ashleigh went out of her way to make sure we had a chance to hold the adorable bunnies and meet and feed all the animals. We loved the clever little farm store next door for muffins and games for the kids. The care that goes into every detail is very evident.

The gramophone was absolutely beautiful, I surprised my girlfriend and proposed in shenandoah park and then stayed at the house for the weekend. We had a perfect weekend, the amenities, the views, the large windows, the relaxing sounds of nature, all the details around the house were absolutely breathtaking!! We will absolutely come back again, the gramophone will always be in our hearts! Special thanks to Noraen who was very helpful and attentive!! I will totally recommend this place and I would give it 10 stars if it was possible!

The cabin was amazing. I wanted a place to take my wife away for two nights to give her a place and time to relax and not worry about the everyday tasks she deals with. This was exactly the place. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. There is not a single thing I would change, other than I wish it were my own private cabin. This place is that good. If you need a place to get away, reserve this. I promise you will have no regrets. There were two places I was considering and I was torn between them but I’m glad I settled on this one. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pans, dishes, etc. The bed was comfortable, bathroom well stocked and the entire experience was better than we could’ve hoped. We will definitely be back. If the day ever comes that the hosts sell this property, I hope I’m around. I should also add that the host was extremely responsive and kind as well. 10/10.

We were visiting family and sadly didn’t take advantage of many amenities but there was plenty to choose from! We were given info on activities for the week. The security and the receptionists were wonderful! We enjoy the lovely setting and our cabin, especially the hot tub. I want to come back again when we can explore more of what Wilderness Park has to offer. We will be back! Thank you!

Had an amazing stay at this cabin for a long weekend trip for two couples and two doggos! Fantastic place to stay to explore the park! Felt right at home with great kitchen accessories, laundry supplies and shower supplies. The dogs loved the fenced in yard to get their energy out! Beds were super comfy and the shower was amazing! The one bedroom is a loft with stairs to access so you can plan accordingly with your group, it has a privacy wall so no issues there ! Second bedroom was on the main level!

The cutest little cabin. Perfect for a getaway/hiking trip to Shenandoah National Park. The cabin is exactly as described, had everything we needed, and it was SO clean. Hosts were very responsive when I asked for local recommendations. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Had a great stay. Would recommend this Airbnb to anyone wanting to get away. Host was always responsive and very helpful anytime I had a question. The walking trials on the property were great. With plenty of wild life around. Was also close enough to DC for us to spend 3 days in the city and also spent a day at Kings dominion.

From the moment I set foot on the property my heart skipped a beat. Everything about our stay was a perfect. The cabin was clean and cozy. All the practical things comfortable bed, cold ac, hot shower, well stocked kitchen, comfy couch, big windows for taking in the peaceful surroundings and watching the bison. Getting into town was an easy 15min drive if you wish. But I never wanted to leave. I could not have wished for a better view of the bison. I watched them come out into the pasture every morning, sun bathe, munch on grass, roll in the dirt, and retire up the hill each evening. This was the most amazingly relaxing couple of days and more than I could have dreamed. I cannot wait to return.

Beautiful, updated cabin that felt very private and within the woods, while not being too far from things to do as well as not difficult to locate. Very clean and well kept. Great directions and things to do provided by host. Hot tub was a great amenity as well. Excellent cabin with plenty of rooms for a weekend in the woods!
