Great spot to be able to park the car and walk everywhere. Kids enjoyed being able to use the pool and spa especially as too cold to swim in the ocean. Apartment had a nice view and was clean and tidy. It would of been nice to have a few more basics in the kitchen like paper towels, baking paper to line trays etc but otherwise kitchen had everything we needed. Loved our stay. Very relaxing.

The house was absolutely spotless and the beds were super comfy and everything was so well set up for all that we needed! Nice private backyard for the kids to play and the spa was lovely in the cooler evenings. We can’t wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The setting is absolutely stunning - with a view over the ocean, falling asleep listening to ocean waves, the wonderful sandy beach just steps away, other beaches just a short drive away, great restaurant and coffee cafe nearby, incredible views and such friendly people wherever we went. We were rather sad to leave and would come back in a heartbeat. Our hosts patiently answered all our questions, made great recommendations, and through the generous use of some boogie boards, our adult children got to fulfill a "dream" of "surfing" (sort of) in NZ!
