Bungalow in Weisdale

A truly wonderful stay! Susan and Adam’s house is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and so well looked after—it felt like home the moment we walked in. Every one of us in the group loved it so much that we found ourselves calling family just to show them around on video! We'd absolutely love to return—this place is a gem. Thank you, Susan and Adam!

Cottage was perfect for our requirements as a couple with 2 dogs. Bressay is a lovely island but very close to Lerwick via the ferry for restaurants, shopping etc Good base for exploring the islands

Apartment with Harbour View

GeorgeRating, 5 starstoday
The apartment was lovely, contemporary yet homely, warm and welcoming, it had everything we needed. The location is superb with great views over Lerwick Harbour. It’s only a few minutes walk from the old town where there’s lots to see and do, along with some great restaurants. A big ‘plus’ is that on-street parking outside the apartment is free. In addition, there’s a free car park just across the road. We never had any problems parking.

Driftwood Cottage

LyndaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Driftwood Cottage was the perfect base for our holiday to Shetland. We don't think we could have found anywhere better on the Islands! It exceeded our expectations. The cottage had everything we needed, with so many thoughtful additions too. We loved the colourful and eclectic decoration. There was plenty of space, a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting room and a restful bedroom. The large walk-in shower, with plenty of hot water, was great! The location is amazing! We had views out across the sea and Shetland ponies next door. We even had a curlew in the garden one day! We had some wild weather during our stay, and Driftwood Cottage was a warm, welcoming and peaceful place to retreat to, after a day of rain and gales! It was definitely a home-from-home.

Cymrund Apartment

We enjoyed staying at Stuart's self contained flat which was well situated and enabled us to visit many places in Shetland. We were welcomed by our host who where very flexible with our check-in time which we appreciated greatly. A lovely apartment which was well equipped. We did not need any help during our stay but I am sure support would have been available should we have needed it.

We stayed for two weeks. The cottage was an ideal base for exploring the islands. It was cosy, comfortable and well appointed. Mark and Sam were very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Twa Sisters.

Fantastic! Stunningly beautiful location at a bus stopping point (we had no car). Buses were infrequent but that wasn't a problem for us. Had a lovely walk down the Strom Ness peninsula starting near the house. House had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again.

no4: a idyllic slice of calm by the ocean

JulieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Wendy’s place. We stayed in Wendy’s beautiful house mid May. The scenery was amazing, beautiful views of the voes. The house was perfect for my needs and for those of my elderly father. I’m a wheelchair user and access to the front and back of the house were via ramps. There is an accessible wet room. I was also able to have a bed and chair delivered from the community OT. Wendy was so lovely before and during our visit. My daughter was able to visit the house before our arrival to see if it was suitable for my needs. Wendy made us feel incredibly welcome. The house was clean and tidy and we were even able to host a small gathering one evening. We will definitely consider staying here again if we get the privilege of staying in Shetland again.
