Very private, quaint stone cottage in the Townland of Coomkeen, on the Sheep's Head Peninsula (the Wild Atlantic Way), Ireland's best hiking country. Two Miles to village of Durrus, five miles from town of Bantry. Cottage was originally built in 1845 by my great uncle. ceilings in kitchen are low, in order for fireplace to keep warm. There are odd heights in doors typical for the era., PLEASE BE ADVISED PERHAPS A CHALLENGE FOR VERY TALL VISITORS. Or you can take a walk back in time and enjoy.

The accommodation comprises of one King bed downstairs, a mezzanine with 2 single beds and second mezzanine with one single bed, both accessed by ladder. A 200-year-old church hall, transformed into a uniquely spacious & stylish townhouse, accommodating 4 guests in comfort. Terracotta flooring throughout with underfloor heating and a solid-fuel stove. The open-plan layout consists of a fully equipped kitchen and a double-height living/dining area. The bedroom has a King-size bed (200cmx150cm) and en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom is a spacious mezzanine with two single beds. This mezzanine overlooks the open-plan living room.

It is ideally located for exploring Bantry, West Cork, Kerry and the surrounding areas on the Wild Atlantic Way Route.
