The automatic check-in email would need to be revised, as there is no more reception, according to the statement. Nevertheless, check-in was easy and the place was as described and clean. The decor was nice and also cozy. Towels and soap must be brought with you. Bed linen was provided but had to be made own. Unfortunately, the bedding was accurately counted, so the double bed could only be covered half. I can recommend the accommodation and would rent it again.

I felt right at home The apartment is super cozily furnished. The bathroom was also very spacious. I liked the rain shower best. Unfortunately, I heard the street very much through the window, so I could hardly fall asleep.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is in a great location, ideal as a base for the area. Anything you need is present, from a well equipped kitchen to a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. The cozy fireplace makes it extra cozy, especially in the evening. The private parking space is also a big plus. In short: full of comforts and absolutely recommended!

In the garden house you can stay well with 2 people. Everything you could need is present. Emmen city center is about 4.5 km away, but the supermarket is close. Casper and Albertine are friendly and interested and respond quickly to messages. We had a nice stay

Very cozy cottage with beautiful and panoramic views of the deep garden and meadow. A warm and friendly welcome by Lucienne. The cottage was clean and complete. In short, highly recommended, maybe we'll come back, hopefully with better weather....

Our stay in this beautiful cottage was just great. The accommodation is cozy and very clean. The location is ideal – quiet and idyllic, but still well connected. We particularly liked the proximity to the zoo in Emmen, which we could easily reach. The charming cheese shop was also a great insider tip from Anne-Marie. Typically, in addition to the cheese, we also bought an Old Jenever, the traditional Dutch juniper, and had Hagelslag for breakfast. And of course, the hot tub was just fantastic for relaxing. For nature lovers, the nearby forest is ideal for walks or bike rides. We enjoyed the peace and the fresh air very much. Anne-Marie and Marnix were super friendly and helpful, communication was straightforward and they responded quickly. There wasn't even a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival 😊 Conclusion: An absolutely recommended accommodation, we will be happy to come back.

We had a nice few days at Jan's. The apartment offers everything you could ever need. In the village there is everything you need. Emmen is also easy to reach. It's nice to have peace and quiet for a while if you're used to big city noise!

I had arrived later than expected, closer to the check in time actually, but Roelie was more than understanding and patient as I updated her about 3 or 4 different times with each update my expected time of arrival being later than the previous. The place is incredibly cozy and clean, it felt like a home away from home, I only stayed for one night to handle some business in the area early the next morning so I opted out of getting breakfast. But I'll definitely be staying again in the future for a peaceful getaway.

Well-divided, approx. 45-square-meter seating terrace in the middle of the large garden. Parking right in front. Great for slowing down. Many attractions and museums are easily accessible within a 1-hour drive. Friendly people everywhere and nice villages.

The place is nice and cosy, Margriet is excellent host. The only thing is, the apartment doesn’t have a washer (as was stated on the listing) but she gladly offered us to use her washer, so no big deal. Thanks for having us.

Thalitha and Frederick were extremely friendly and well welcoming. This is one of best places I've stayed in with Airbnb. The house was beautiful, vintage, quiet, and easy to get in and out with private entrance and free parking spot. Amazing experience seeing and interacting with horses owned by the host. The house has gold heating system as we stayed in during winter. In few words, we felt like home.
